1 Or Benjamin engendra Bela, son premier-né, Ashbel le second, Aharah le troisième,

 1 Now Benjamin begat Bela his firstborn, Ashbel the second, and Aharah the third,

2 Nohah le quatrième, et Rapha le cinquième.

28 Ceux-ci étaient têtes des pères, selon leurs générations, des hommes chefs. Ceux-ci demeuraient à Jérusalem.

 28 These were heads of the fathers, by their generations, chief men. These dwelt in Jerusalem.

29 Et le père de Gibeon demeurait à Gibeon ; dont le nom de sa femme était Maachah.

 29 And at Gibeon dwelt the father of Gibeon; whose wife’s name was Maachah:

30 Et son fils premier-né, Abdon, et Zur, et Kish, et Baal, et Nadab,

 31 And Gedor, and Ahio, and Zacher.

32 Et Mikloth engendra Shimeah. Et eux aussi demeurèrent près de leurs frères à Jérusalem, en face d’eux.

 32 And Mikloth begat Shimeah. And these also dwelt with their brethren in Jerusalem, over against them.

33 ¶ Et Ner engendra Kish, et Kish engendra Saul, et Saul engendra Jonathan, et Malchishua, et Abinadab et Eshbaal.

 33 ¶ And Ner begat Kish, and Kish begat Saul, and Saul begat Jonathan, and Malchishua, and Abinadab, and Eshbaal.

34 Et le fils de Jonathan était Meribbaal, et Meribbaal engendra Micah.

36 Et Ahaz engendra Jehoadah, et Jehoadah engendra Alemeth, et Azmaveth et Zimri, et Zimri engendra Moza ;

 36 And Ahaz begat Jehoadah; and Jehoadah begat Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri begat Moza,

37 Et Moza engendra Binea, Rapha était son fils, Eleasah, son fils, Azel son fils.

 37 And Moza begat Binea: Rapha was his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son:

38 Et Azel eut six fils, dont les noms sont Azrikam, Bocheru, et Ismaël, et Sheariah, et Obadiah (Abdias) et Hanan. Tous ceux-là étaient fils d’Azel.

 38 And Azel had six sons, whose names are these, Azrikam, Bocheru, and Ishmael, and Sheariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan. All these were the sons of Azel.

39 Et les fils d’Eshek, son frère étaient Ulam, son premier-né, Jehush le second, et Eliphelet le troisième.

 39 And the sons of Eshek his brother were, Ulam his firstborn, Jehush the second, and Eliphelet the third.

40 Et les fils d’Ulam étaient des hommes forts et vaillants, tirant de l’arc ; et ils eurent beaucoup de fils et de petits-fils, cent cinquante. Tous ceux-là sont des fils de Benjamin.

 40 And the sons of Ulam were mighty men of valour, archers, and had many sons, and sons’ sons, an hundred and fifty. All these are of the sons of Benjamin.
