1 Alors Bezaleel (Betsaléel) et Aholiab, et tout homme au cœur sage, en qui le SEIGNEUR avait mis sagesse et intelligence pour savoir comment travailler toute sorte d’ouvrage pour le service du sanctuaire, firent selon tout ce que le SEIGNEUR avait commandé.

 1 Then wrought Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whom the LORD put wisdom and understanding to know how to work all manner of work for the service of the sanctuary, according to all that the LORD had commanded.

2 Et Moïse appela Bezaleel (Betsaléel) et Aholia, et tout homme au cœur sage, dans le cœur duquel le SEIGNEUR avait mis de la sagesse, à savoir chaque homme dont le cœur l’incita à venir vers l’ouvrage pour le faire ;

 2 And Moses called Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whose heart the LORD had put wisdom, even every one whose heart stirred him up to come unto the work to do it:

3 Et ils reçurent de Moïse toute l’offrande que les enfants d’Israël avaient apportée pour l’ouvrage du service du sanctuaire, pour le faire avec tout cela. Et ils lui apportaient encore, chaque matin, des offrandes volontaires.

 3 And they received of Moses all the offering, which the children of Israel had brought for the work of the service of the sanctuary, to make it withal. And they brought yet unto him free offerings every morning.

4 Et tous les hommes sages qui travaillaient à tout l’ouvrage du sanctuaire, laissèrent chacun l’ouvrage qu’ils faisaient,

 4 And all the wise men, that wrought all the work of the sanctuary, came every man from his work which they made;

5 Et ils parlèrent à Moïse, disant : Le peuple apporte beaucoup plus qu’il ne faut pour le service de l’ouvrage que le SEIGNEUR a commandé de faire.

 5 ¶ And they spake unto Moses, saying, The people bring much more than enough for the service of the work, which the LORD commanded to make.

6 Et Moïse donna ordre, et on proclama dans le camp, disant : Que ni homme ni femme ne fasse plus d’ouvrage pour l’offrande du sanctuaire. Ainsi le peuple s’arrêta d’apporter.

 6 And Moses gave commandment, and they caused it to be proclaimed throughout the camp, saying, Let neither man nor woman make any more work for the offering of the sanctuary. So the people were restrained from bringing.

7 Car ils avaient assez de matériaux pour faire tout l’ouvrage ; et même trop.

 7 For the stuff they had was sufficient for all the work to make it, and too much.

8 Et chaque homme au cœur sage parmi ceux qui travaillaient à l’ouvrage du tabernacle firent dix rideaux de fin lin retors, et de bleu, de pourpre et d’écarlate ; ils les firent avec des chérubins en ouvrage recherché.

 8 ¶ And every wise hearted man among them that wrought the work of the tabernacle made ten curtains of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet: with cherubims of cunning work made he them.

9 La longueur d’un rideau était de vingt-huit coudées ; et la largeur du même rideau, de quatre coudées ; les rideaux étaient tous de la même dimension.

 9 The length of one curtain was twenty and eight cubits, and the breadth of one curtain four cubits: the curtains were all of one size.

10 Et il joignit les cinq rideaux l’un à l’autre et il joignit les cinq autres rideaux l’un à l’autre.

 10 And he coupled the five curtains one unto another: and the other five curtains he coupled one unto another.

11 Et il fit des brides de bleu le long d’un rideau, à la lisière de l’assemblage ; il fit de même à l’extrémité de l’autre rideau, dans le second assemblage.

 11 And he made loops of blue on the edge of one curtain from the selvedge in the coupling: likewise he made in the uttermost side of another curtain, in the coupling of the second.

12 Il fit cinquante brides sur un rideau, et il fit cinquante brides le long du rideau qui était dans le second assemblage, les brides tenaient un rideau à l’autre.

 12 Fifty loops made he in one curtain, and fifty loops made he in the edge of the curtain which was in the coupling of the second: the loops held one curtain to another.

13 Et il fit cinquante agrafes d’or et assembla les rideaux l’un à l’autre avec les agrafes, ainsi cela devint un tabernacle.

 13 And he made fifty taches of gold, and coupled the curtains one unto another with the taches: so it became one tabernacle.

14 Et il fit des rideaux de poil de chèvre, pour la tente au-dessus du tabernacle ; il en fit onze rideaux.

 14 ¶ And he made curtains of goats’ hair for the tent over the tabernacle: eleven curtains he made them.

15 La longueur d’un rideau était de trente coudées et la largeur du même rideau était de quatre coudées ; les onze rideaux étaient de la même dimension.

 15 The length of one curtain was thirty cubits, and four cubits was the breadth of one curtain: the eleven curtains were of one size.

16 Et il assembla cinq de ces rideaux à part et les six autres rideaux à part.

 16 And he coupled five curtains by themselves, and six curtains by themselves.

17 Et il fit cinquante brides le long de la lisière extérieure du rideau de l’assemblage et il fit cinquante brides le long de la lisière du rideau du second assemblage.

 17 And he made fifty loops upon the uttermost edge of the curtain in the coupling, and fifty loops made he upon the edge of the curtain which coupleth the second.

18 Et il fit cinquante agrafes de cuivre, pour assembler la tente, afin qu’elle puisse former un seul tout.

 18 And he made fifty taches of brass to couple the tent together, that it might be one.

19 Et il fit pour la tente une couverture de peaux de béliers teintes en rouge et une couverture de peaux de blaireaux par-dessus cela.

 19 And he made a covering for the tent of rams’ skins dyed red, and a covering of badgers’ skins above that.

20 Et il fit pour le tabernacle des planches de bois de Shittim (Sittim), se tenant debout.

 20 ¶ And he made boards for the tabernacle of shittim wood, standing up.

21 La longueur d’une planche était de dix coudées et la largeur de la planche d’une coudée et demie.

 21 The length of a board was ten cubits, and the breadth of a board one cubit and a half.

22 Chaque planche avait deux tenons, à égale distance l’un de l’autre ; il fit de même pour toutes les planches du tabernacle.

 22 One board had two tenons, equally distant one from another: thus did he make for all the boards of the tabernacle.

23 Et il fit les planches pour le tabernacle vingt planches pour le côté sud, tourné vers le Sud.

 23 And he made boards for the tabernacle; twenty boards for the south side southward:

24 Et sous les vingt planches il fit quarante emboîtements d’argent ; deux emboîtements sous une planche, pour ses deux tenons, et deux emboîtements sous une autre planche, pour ses deux tenons.

 24 And forty sockets of silver he made under the twenty boards; two sockets under one board for his two tenons, and two sockets under another board for his two tenons.

25 Et pour l’autre côté du tabernacle lequel est du côté du Nord, il fit vingt planches.

 25 And for the other side of the tabernacle, which is toward the north corner, he made twenty boards,

26 Et leurs quarante emboîtements d’argent, deux emboîtements sous une planche et deux emboîtements sous une autre planche.

 26 And their forty sockets of silver; two sockets under one board, and two sockets under another board.

27 Et pour les côtés du tabernacle vers l’Ouest, il fit six planches.

 27 And for the sides of the tabernacle westward he made six boards.

28 Et il fit deux planches pour les coins du tabernacle des deux côtés.

 28 And two boards made he for the corners of the tabernacle in the two sides.

29 Et elles étaient assemblées, et assemblées en dessous et conjointement par le haut avec un anneau ; il fit ainsi pour les deux, aux deux coins.

 29 And they were coupled beneath, and coupled together at the head thereof, to one ring: thus he did to both of them in both the corners.

30 Et il y avait huit planches et leurs emboîtements étaient seize emboîtements d’argent ; sous chaque planche deux emboîtements.

 30 And there were eight boards; and their sockets were sixteen sockets of silver, under every board two sockets.

31 Et il fit des barres de bois de Shittim (Sittim), cinq pour les planches d’un côté du tabernacle ;

 31 ¶ And he made bars of shittim wood; five for the boards of the one side of the tabernacle,

32 Et cinq barres pour les planches de l’autre côté du tabernacle, et cinq barres pour les planches du tabernacle pour les côtés vers l’Ouest.

 32 And five bars for the boards of the other side of the tabernacle, and five bars for the boards of the tabernacle for the sides westward.

33 Et il fit la barre du milieu, pour traverser par le milieu des planches, d’un bout à l’autre.

 33 And he made the middle bar to shoot through the boards from the one end to the other.

34 Et il recouvrit d’or les planches, et fit leurs anneaux d’or, pour y faire passer les barres et il recouvrit d’or les barres.

 34 And he overlaid the boards with gold, and made their rings of gold to be places for the bars, and overlaid the bars with gold.

35 Et il fit un voile de bleu, de pourpre, d’écarlate et de fin lin retors ; il le fit en ouvrage recherché, avec des chérubins.

 35 ¶ And he made a vail of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen: with cherubims made he it of cunning work.

36 Et il lui fit quatre piliers de bois de Shittim (Sittim) et les recouvrit d’or, leurs crochets étaient en or ; et il leur fondit quatre emboîtements d’argent.

 36 And he made thereunto four pillars of shittim wood, and overlaid them with gold: their hooks were of gold; and he cast for them four sockets of silver.

37 Et il fit pour la porte du tabernacle une tenture de bleu, de pourpre, d’écarlate et de fin lin retors, travaillée aux aiguilles ;

 37 ¶ And he made an hanging for the tabernacle door of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, of needlework;

38 Et ses cinq piliers et leurs crochets ; et il recouvrit d’or leurs chapiteaux et leurs tringles ; mais leurs cinq emboîtements étaient en cuivre.

 38 And the five pillars of it with their hooks: and he overlaid their chapiters and their fillets with gold: but their five sockets were of brass.
