1 Et il fit l’autel de l’offrande consumé en bois de Shittim (Sittim) ; de cinq coudées était sa longueur et de cinq coudées sa largeur ; il était carré ; et de trois coudées sa hauteur.

 1 And he made the altar of burnt offering of shittim wood: five cubits was the length thereof, and five cubits the breadth thereof; it was foursquare; and three cubits the height thereof.

2 Et il fit ses cornes à ses quatre coins ; ses cornes étaient de la même pièce ; et il le recouvrit de cuivre.

 2 And he made the horns thereof on the four corners of it; the horns thereof were of the same: and he overlaid it with brass.

3 Et il fit tous les ustensiles de l’autel, les marmites, les pelles et les bassins, et les fourchettes et les cassolettes ; il fit tous ses ustensiles en cuivre.

 3 And he made all the vessels of the altar, the pots, and the shovels, and the basons, and the fleshhooks, and the firepans: all the vessels thereof made he of brass.

4 Et il fit pour l’autel un foyer brasé de réseau sous son pourtour, depuis le bas jusqu’en son milieu.

 4 And he made for the altar a brasen grate of network under the compass thereof beneath unto the midst of it.

5 Et il fondit quatre anneaux pour les quatre coins de la grille de cuivre, pour y placer les barres.

 5 And he cast four rings for the four ends of the grate of brass, to be places for the staves.

6 Et il fit les barres en bois de Shittim (Sittim) et les recouvrit de cuivre.

 6 And he made the staves of shittim wood, and overlaid them with brass.

7 Et il fit passer les barres dans les anneaux sur les côtés de l’autel, pour le porter ; il fit l’autel creux avec des planches.

 7 And he put the staves into the rings on the sides of the altar, to bear it withal; he made the altar hollow with boards.

8 Et il fit la cuve en cuivre et son soubassement en cuivre, avec les miroirs des femmes qui s’assemblaient, lesquelles s’assemblaient à la porte du tabernacle de la congrégation.

 8 ¶ And he made the laver of brass, and the foot of it of brass, of the lookingglasses of the women assembling, which assembled at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

9 Et il fit la cour : sur le côté sud, tourné vers le Sud, les tentures de la cour étaient en fin lin retors, de cent coudées,

 9 ¶ And he made the court: on the south side southward the hangings of the court were of fine twined linen, an hundred cubits:

10 Leurs vingt piliers et leurs vingt emboîtements étaient brasés ; les crochets des piliers et leurs tringles étaient en argent.

 10 Their pillars were twenty, and their brasen sockets twenty; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets were of silver.

11 Et pour le côté nord, les tentures étaient de cent coudées, leurs vingt piliers et leurs vingt emboîtements de cuivre ; les crochets des piliers et leurs filets en argent.

 11 And for the north side the hangings were an hundred cubits, their pillars were twenty, and their sockets of brass twenty; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets of silver.

12 Et pour le côté ouest, les tentures étaient de cinquante coudées, leurs dix piliers et leurs dix emboîtements ; les crochets des piliers et leurs filets en argent.

 12 And for the west side were hangings of fifty cubits, their pillars ten, and their sockets ten; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets of silver.

13 Et pour le côté est, tourné vers l’Est, cinquante coudées.

 13 And for the east side eastward fifty cubits.

14 Les tentures d’un côté de la porte étaient de quinze coudées, leurs trois piliers avec leurs trois emboîtements ;

 14 The hangings of the one side of the gate were fifteen cubits; their pillars three, and their sockets three.

15 Et pour l’autre côté de la porte de la cour, de part et d’autre, étaient quinze coudées de tentures, leurs trois piliers avec leurs trois emboîtements.

 15 And for the other side of the court gate, on this hand and that hand, were hangings of fifteen cubits; their pillars three, and their sockets three.

16 Toutes les tentures de la cour, tout autour, étaient de fin lin retors ;

 16 All the hangings of the court round about were of fine twined linen.

17 Et les emboîtements des piliers étaient en cuivre, les crochets des piliers et leurs filets en argent et leurs chapiteaux étaient recouverts d’argent ; et tous les piliers de la cour étaient incrustés d’argent.

 17 And the sockets for the pillars were of brass; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets of silver; and the overlaying of their chapiters of silver; and all the pillars of the court were filleted with silver.

18 Et la tenture de la porte de la cour était faite aux aiguilles, de bleu, de pourpre, d’écarlate et de fin lin retors, vingt coudées en était la longueur ; et la hauteur de la largeur était de cinq coudées, conforme aux tentures de la cour.

 18 And the hanging for the gate of the court was needlework, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen: and twenty cubits was the length, and the height in the breadth was five cubits, answerable to the hangings of the court.

19 Et leurs quatre piliers et leurs quatre emboîtements étaient en cuivre ; leurs crochets en argent, et leurs chapiteaux et leurs filets étaient recouverts d’argent.

 19 And their pillars were four, and their sockets of brass four; their hooks of silver, and the overlaying of their chapiters and their fillets of silver.

20 Et tous les pieux du tabernacle et de la cour, tout autour, étaient en cuivre.

 20 And all the pins of the tabernacle, and of the court round about, were of brass.

21 C’est ici le sommaire du tabernacle, c’est-à-dire du tabernacle du témoignage, comme le compte en a été fait, selon le commandement de Moïse, pour le service des Lévites, par la main d’Ithamar, fils d’Aaron, le prêtre.

 21 ¶ This is the sum of the tabernacle, even of the tabernacle of testimony, as it was counted, according to the commandment of Moses, for the service of the Levites, by the hand of Ithamar, son to Aaron the priest.

22 Et Bezaleel, (Betsaléel), le fils d’Uri, le fils de Hur, de la tribu de Judah (Juda), fit tout ce que le SEIGNEUR avait commandé à Moïse.

 22 And Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, made all that the LORD commanded Moses.

23 Et avec lui était Aholiab, fils d’Ahisamach (Ahisamac), de la tribu de Dan, graveur, et artisan talentueux et brodeur de bleu, de pourpre, d’écarlate et de fin lin.

 23 And with him was Aholiab, son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, an engraver, and a cunning workman, and an embroiderer in blue, and in purple, and in scarlet, and fine linen.

24 Tout l’or qui fut employé pour l’ouvrage, pour tout l’ouvrage du saint lieu, c’est-à-dire l’or de l’offrande, fut de vingt-neuf talents et sept cent trente shekels (sicles), selon le shekel du sanctuaire.

 24 All the gold that was occupied for the work in all the work of the holy place, even the gold of the offering, was twenty and nine talents, and seven hundred and thirty shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary.

25 Et l’argent de ceux de la congrégation qui furent dénombrés fut de cent talents et mille sept cent soixante-quinze shekels, selon le shekel du sanctuaire ;

 25 And the silver of them that were numbered of the congregation was an hundred talents, and a thousand seven hundred and threescore and fifteen shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary:

26 Un bekah par homme, c’est-à-dire, un demi-shekel, selon le shekel du sanctuaire, pour tous ceux qui passèrent pour être dénombrés, depuis l’âge de vingt ans et plus, pour six cent trois mille cinq cent cinquante hommes.

26 A bekah for every man, that is, half a shekel, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for every one that went to be numbered, from twenty years old and upward, for six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty men.

27 Et les cent talents d’argent étaient pour fondre les emboîtements du sanctuaire, ainsi que les emboîtements du voile : pour les cent emboîtements, cent talents ; un talent par emboîtement.

 27 And of the hundred talents of silver were cast the sockets of the sanctuary, and the sockets of the vail; an hundred sockets of the hundred talents, a talent for a socket.

28 Et des mille sept cent soixante-quinze shekels, il fit des crochets pour les piliers, recouvrit leurs chapiteaux et fit des filets autour.

 28 And of the thousand seven hundred seventy and five shekels he made hooks for the pillars, and overlaid their chapiters, and filleted them.

29 Et le cuivre de l’offrande fut de soixante-dix talents et deux mille quatre cents shekels.

 29 And the brass of the offering was seventy talents, and two thousand and four hundred shekels.

30 Et il en fit les emboîtements de la porte du tabernacle de la congrégation, ainsi que l’autel brasé, sa grille brasée et tous les vases de l’autel,

 30 And therewith he made the sockets to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and the brasen altar, and the brasen grate for it, and all the vessels of the altar,

31 Et les emboîtements de la cour, tout autour, les emboîtements de la porte de la cour, tous les pieux du tabernacle et tous les pieux de la cour tout autour.

 31 And the sockets of the court round about, and the sockets of the court gate, and all the pins of the tabernacle, and all the pins of the court round about.
