1 La parole du SEIGNEUR vint à moi, disant :

 1 The word of the LORD also came unto me, saying,

2 Fils de l’homme, tu demeures au milieu d'une maison rebelle, qui ont des yeux pour voir et ne voient pas, ils ont des oreilles pour entendre et n'entendent pas, car ils sont une maison rebelle.

 2 Son of man, thou dwellest in the midst of a rebellious house, which have eyes to see, and see not; they have ears to hear, and hear not: for they are a rebellious house.

3 C'est pourquoi, toi, Fils de l’homme, prépare-toi des affaires pour partir, et pars de jour à leur vue ; tu partiras de ton lieu pour un autre lieu, à leur vue ; peut-être considèreront-ils, quoiqu'ils soient une maison rebelle.

 3 Therefore, thou son of man, prepare thee stuff for removing, and remove by day in their sight; and thou shalt remove from thy place to another place in their sight: it may be they will consider, though they be a rebellious house.

4 Tu mettras dehors tes affaires de jour à leur vue, comme des affaires pour partir ; et toi tu sortiras vers le soir, à leur vue, comme ceux qui partent en captivité.

 4 Then shalt thou bring forth thy stuff by day in their sight, as stuff for removing: and thou shalt go forth at even in their sight, as they that go forth into captivity.

5 Perce le mur à leur vue, et emporte par là tes affaires.

 5 Dig thou through the wall in their sight, and carry out thereby.

6 À leur vue, tu les porteras sur tes épaules, et tu les emporteras au crépuscule ; tu te couvriras le visage, afin que tu ne voies pas la terre, car je t'ai mis pour être un signe à la maison d'Israël.

 6 In their sight shalt thou bear it upon thy shoulders, and carry it forth in the twilight: thou shalt cover thy face, that thou see not the ground: for I have set thee for a sign unto the house of Israel.

7 Et je fis donc comme j'avais été commandé ; je mis dehors mes affaires de plein jour, comme des affaires de captivité ; et vers le soir je creusai dans le mur avec ma main ; je les mis dehors au crépuscule, et les portai sur mon épaule à leur vue.

 7 And I did so as I was commanded: I brought forth my stuff by day, as stuff for captivity, and in the even I digged through the wall with mine hand; I brought it forth in the twilight, and I bare it upon my shoulder in their sight.

8 ¶ Et au matin, la parole du SEIGNEUR vint à moi, disant :

 8 ¶ And in the morning came the word of the LORD unto me, saying,

9 Fils de l’homme, la maison d'Israël, la rebelle maison, ne t'a-t-elle pas dit : Que fais-tu ?

 9 Son of man, hath not the house of Israel, the rebellious house, said unto thee, What doest thou?

10 Dis-leur : Ainsi dit le Seigneur DIEU : Cette charge concerne le prince à Jérusalem, et toute la maison d'Israël qui est parmi eux.

 10 Say thou unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; This burden concerneth the prince in Jerusalem, and all the house of Israel that are among them.

11 Dis : Je suis votre signe : comme j’ai fait ; ainsi  il leur sera fait ; il partiront et ils iront en captivité.

 11 Say, I am your sign: like as I have done, so shall it be done unto them: they shall remove and go into captivity.

12 Et le prince qui est parmi eux portera sur son épaule ses affaires au crépuscule et partira ; on creusera dans le mur pour emporter par là ; il couvrira son visage, afin qu'il ne voie pas le sol avec ses yeux.

 12 And the prince that is among them shall bear upon his shoulder in the twilight, and shall go forth: they shall dig through the wall to carry out thereby: he shall cover his face, that he see not the ground with his eyes.

13 J'étendrai aussi mon filet sur lui, et il sera pris dans mon piège, et je l'emmènerai à Babylone, au pays des Chaldéens ; mais il ne le verra pas bien qu'il y mourra.

 13 My net also will I spread upon him, and he shall be taken in my snare: and I will bring him to Babylon to the land of the Chaldeans; yet shall he not see it, though he shall die there.

14 Et je disperserai à tout vent tous ceux qui sont autour de lui, pour l'aider, et toutes ses troupes, et je tirerai l'épée après eux.

 14 And I will scatter toward every wind all that are about him to help him, and all his bands; and I will draw out the sword after them.

15 Et ils sauront que je suis le SEIGNEUR, quand je les aurai dispersés parmi les nations et disséminés dans les pays.

 15 And they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall scatter them among the nations, and disperse them in the countries.

16 Mais je laisserai d'entre eux quelques hommes préservés de l'épée, de la famine, de la pestilence ; afin qu'ils puissent déclarer toutes leurs abominations parmi les païens où ils iront, et ils sauront que je suis le SEIGNEUR.

 16 But I will leave a few men of them from the sword, from the famine, and from the pestilence; that they may declare all their abominations among the heathen whither they come; and they shall know that I am the LORD.

17 ¶ De plus la parole du SEIGNEUR vint à moi, disant :

 17 ¶ Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

18 Fils de l’homme, mange ton pain dans l'agitation, et bois ton eau avec tremblement et avec soin.

 18 Son of man, eat thy bread with quaking, and drink thy water with trembling and with carefulness;

19 Et dis au peuple du pays : Ainsi dit le Seigneur DIEU, au sujet des habitants de Jérusalem, et à la terre d'Israël : Ils mangeront leur pain avec soin et boiront leur eau avec étonnement, afin que le pays puisse être ravagé de tout ce qu'il contient, à cause de la violence de tous ceux qui y demeurent.

 19 And say unto the people of the land, Thus saith the Lord GOD of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and of the land of Israel; They shall eat their bread with carefulness, and drink their water with astonishment, that her land may be desolate from all that is therein, because of the violence of all them that dwell therein.

20 Et les villes qui sont habitées seront ravagées, et le pays ne sera que désolation, et vous saurez que je suis le SEIGNEUR.

 20 And the cities that are inhabited shall be laid waste, and the land shall be desolate; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

21 ¶ Et la parole du SEIGNEUR vint `moi, disant :

 21 ¶ And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

22 Fils de l’homme, quel est ce proverbe, que vous avez dans la terre d'Israël, disant : Les jours sont différés, et toute vision fait défaut ?

 22 Son of man, what is that proverb that ye have in the land of Israel, saying, The days are prolonged, and every vision faileth?

23 C'est pourquoi dis-leur : Ainsi dit le Seigneur DIEU : Je ferai cesser ce proverbe, et on ne s'en servira plus comme proverbe en Israël ; mais dis-leur : Les jours sont proches, ainsi que la conséquence de chaque vision.

 23 Tell them therefore, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will make this proverb to cease, and they shall no more use it as a proverb in Israel; but say unto them, The days are at hand, and the effect of every vision.

24 Car il n'y aura plus aucune vaine vision, ni de flatteuse divination, au milieu de la maison d'Israël.

 24 For there shall be no more any vain vision nor flattering divination within the house of Israel.

25 Car je suis le SEIGNEUR, je parlerai, et la parole que j'aurai dite s'accomplira, elle ne sera plus différée ; car en vos jours, ô maison rebelle, je dirai la parole et l'accomplirai, dit le Seigneur DIEU.

 25 For I am the LORD: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more prolonged: for in your days, O rebellious house, will I say the word, and will perform it, saith the Lord GOD.

26 ¶ La parole du SEIGNEUR vint à moi, disant :

 26 ¶ Again the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

27 Fils de l’homme, voici, ceux de la maison d'Israël disent : La vision qu'il voit, est pour dans beaucoup de jours à venir, et il prophétise pour des temps éloignés.

 27 Son of man, behold, they of the house of Israel say, The vision that he seeth is for many days to come, and he prophesieth of the times that are far off.

28 C'est pourquoi dis-leur : Ainsi dit le Seigneur DIEU : Aucune de mes paroles ne sera plus différée, mais la parole que j'aurai dite sera exécutée, dit le Seigneur DIEU.

 28 Therefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; There shall none of my words be prolonged any more, but the word which I have spoken shall be done, saith the Lord GOD.
