1 Ensuite il me ramena vers la porte, savoir la porte qui regarde vers l’Est ;

 1 Afterward he brought me to the gate, even the gate that looketh toward the east:

2 Et voici, la gloire du Dieu d'Israël venait du côté de l’Est ; et sa voix était comme le son de beaucoup d'eaux, et la terre resplendissait de sa gloire.

 2 And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east: and his voice was like a noise of many waters: and the earth shined with his glory.

3 Et c'était comme l'aspect de la vision que j'avais vue, semblable à celle que j'avais vue lorsque j'étais venu pour détruire la ville, et ces visions étaient comme la vision que j'avais vue près du fleuve Chebar ; et je tombai sur ma face.

 3 And it was according to the appearance of the vision which I saw, even according to the vision that I saw when I came to destroy the city: and the visions were like the vision that I saw by the river Chebar; and I fell upon my face.

4 Et la gloire du SEIGNEUR entra dans la maison par le chemin de la porte dont la perspective est tournée vers l’Est.

 4 And the glory of the LORD came into the house by the way of the gate whose prospect is toward the east.

5 Et l'Esprit m'enleva, et me mena dans la cour intérieure ; et voici, la gloire du SEIGNEUR remplissait la maison.

 5 So the spirit took me up, and brought me into the inner court; and, behold, the glory of the LORD filled the house.

6 Et je l'entendis s'adressant à moi depuis la maison, et l'homme se tenait près de moi.

 6 And I heard him speaking unto me out of the house; and the man stood by me.

7 ¶ Et il me dit : Fils de l’homme, c'est ici le lieu de mon trône, et le lieu des plantes de mes pieds, où je demeurerai pour toujours parmi les enfants d'Israël ; et la maison d'Israël ne souillera plus mon saint nom, ni eux, ni leurs rois, par leurs prostitutions, ni par les cadavres de leurs rois sur leurs hauts lieux.

 7 ¶ And he said unto me, Son of man, the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel for ever, and my holy name, shall the house of Israel no more defile, neither they, nor their kings, by their whoredom, nor by the carcases of their kings in their high places.

8 En mettant leur seuil près de mon seuil, et leur montant près de mon montant, et le mur entre moi et eux ; ils ont ainsi souillé mon saint nom par les abominations qu'ils ont commises ; c'est pourquoi je les ai consumés dans ma colère.

 8 In their setting of their threshold by my thresholds, and their post by my posts, and the wall between me and them, they have even defiled my holy name by their abominations that they have committed: wherefore I have consumed them in mine anger.

9 Que maintenant ils rejettent loin de moi leurs prostitutions et les cadavres de leurs rois, et je demeurai au milieu d'eux pour toujours.

 9 Now let them put away their whoredom, and the carcases of their kings, far from me, and I will dwell in the midst of them for ever.

10 ¶ Toi, Fils de l’homme, montre cette maison à la maison d'Israël, afin qu'ils soient honteux à cause de leurs iniquités, et qu'ils en mesurent le plan.

 10 ¶ Thou son of man, shew the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities: and let them measure the pattern.

11 Et s'ils sont honteux de tout ce qu'ils ont fait, montre-leur la forme de la maison, et son agencement, ses sorties, ses entrées, et tous ses dessins, et toutes s ses formes, et toutes ses ordonnances et toutes ses formalités ; et écris-les devant eux, afin qu'ils gardent toute sa forme et toutes ses ordonnances, et qu'ils les pratiquent.

 11 And if they be ashamed of all that they have done, shew them the form of the house, and the fashion thereof, and the goings out thereof, and the comings in thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the laws thereof: and write it in their sight, that they may keep the whole form thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and do them.

12 C'est ici la loi de la maison sur le sommet de la montagne toute son enceinte sera très saint. Voilà, telle est la loi de la maison.

 12 This is the law of the house; Upon the top of the mountain the whole limit thereof round about shall be most holy. Behold, this is the law of the house.

13 ¶ Et ce sont ici les mesures de l'autel, en coudées ; la coudée est une coudée et une largeur de main la base sera une coudée, et une coudée de large, et son rebord qui en fait le tour sera d'un empan ; et cela sera la partie la plus haute de l'autel.

 13 ¶ And these are the measures of the altar after the cubits: The cubit is a cubit and an hand breadth; even the bottom shall be a cubit, and the breadth a cubit, and the border thereof by the edge thereof round about shall be a span: and this shall be the higher place of the altar.

14 Et depuis la base sur le sol jusqu'à la surcharge surélévation inférieure sera de deux coudées, et une coudée de largeur ; et depuis la petite surcharge jusqu'à la grande surcharge, quatre coudées, et une coudée de largeur.

 14 And from the bottom upon the ground even to the lower settle shall be two cubits, and the breadth one cubit; and from the lesser settle even to the greater settle shall be four cubits, and the breadth one cubit.

15 Ainsi l'autel aura quatre coudées, et de l'autel et dirigées en haut il y aura quatre cornes.

 15 So the altar shall be four cubits; and from the altar and upward shall be four horns.

16 Et l'autel sera de douze coudées de longueur, sur douze de large, un carré par ses quatre côtés.

 16 And the altar shall be twelve cubits long, twelve broad, square in the four squares thereof.

17 Et la surcharge aura quatorze coudées de long, sur quatorze de large sur ses quatre côtés ; et le rebord tout autour sera d'une demi-coudée ; et sa base aura une coudée tout autour, et ses marches regarderont vers l’Est.

 17 And the settle shall be fourteen cubits long and fourteen broad in the four squares thereof; and the border about it shall be half a cubit; and the bottom thereof shall be a cubit about; and his stairs shall look toward the east.

18 ¶ Et il me dit : Fils de l’homme, Ainsi dit le Seigneur DIEU : Ce sont ici les ordonnances concernant l'autel, au jour qu'ils le fabriqueront, pour y offrir les offrandes consumées et pour y faire aspersion de sang.

 18 ¶ And he said unto me, Son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; These are the ordinances of the altar in the day when they shall make it, to offer burnt offerings thereon, and to sprinkle blood thereon.

19 Et tu donneras aux prêtres les Lévites, qui sont de la semence de Zadok (Tsadok), qui s'approchent de moi pour me servir, dit le Seigneur DIEU, un jeune taureau pour un sacrifice pour le péché.

 19 And thou shalt give to the priests the Levites that be of the seed of Zadok, which approach unto me, to minister unto me, saith the Lord GOD, a young bullock for a sin offering.

20 Et tu prendras de son sang, et en mettras sur les quatre cornes et sur les quatre coins de la surcharge, et sur le rebord tout autour, ainsi tu nettoieras l'autel et le purifieras.

 20 And thou shalt take of the blood thereof, and put it on the four horns of it, and on the four corners of the settle, and upon the border round about: thus shalt thou cleanse and purge it.

21 Tu prendras le taurillon de l'offrande pour le péché, et on le brûlera au lieu ordonné de la maison, en dehors du sanctuaire.

 21 Thou shalt take the bullock also of the sin offering, and he shall burn it in the appointed place of the house, without the sanctuary.

22 Et au second jour, tu offriras un chevreau d'entre les chèvres, sans défaut, en offrande pour le péché, et l’on purifiera l'autel, comme on l'avait purifié avec le taurillon.

 22 And on the second day thou shalt offer a kid of the goats without blemish for a sin offering; and they shall cleanse the altar, as they did cleanse it with the bullock.

23 Lorsque tu auras achevé la purification, tu offriras un jeune taureau sans défaut, et un bélier pris dans le troupeau, sans défaut.

 23 When thou hast made an end of cleansing it, thou shalt offer a young bullock without blemish, and a ram out of the flock without blemish.

24 Tu les offriras devant le SEIGNEUR, et les prêtres jetteront du sel sur eux, et ils les offriront en une offrande consumée au SEIGNEUR.

 24 And thou shalt offer them before the LORD, and the priests shall cast salt upon them, and they shall offer them up for a burnt offering unto the LORD.

25 Pendant sept jours, tu prépareras un bouc chaque jour, en offrande pour le péché ; et ils prépareront un jeune taureau, et un bélier pris dans le troupeau, sans défaut.

 25 Seven days shalt thou prepare every day a goat for a sin offering: they shall also prepare a young bullock, and a ram out of the flock, without blemish.

26 Ils purifieront l'autel pendant sept jours et le nettoieront ; et chacun sera consacré.

 26 Seven days shall they purge the altar and purify it; and they shall consecrate themselves.

27 Et lorsque ces jours seront achevés, il arrivera, qu'au huitième jour et dans la suite, les prêtres offriront vos offrandes consumées sur l'autel ainsi que vos offrandes de paix ; et je vous accepterai, dit le Seigneur DIEU.

 27 And when these days are expired, it shall be, that upon the eighth day, and so forward, the priests shall make your burnt offerings upon the altar, and your peace offerings; and I will accept you, saith the Lord GOD.
