1 Le désert et l'endroit inhabité seront heureux pour eux ; et lieu aride se réjouira, et fleurira comme la rose.
|
1 The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose.
|
2 Il fleurira abondamment, et même se réjouira avec joie et en chantant ; la gloire du Liban lui sera donnée, l'excellence de Carmel et de Saron, ils verront la gloire du SEIGNEUR, et l'excellence de notre Dieu.
|
2 It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing: the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the glory of the LORD, and the excellency of our God.
|
3 ¶ Fortifiez les mains affaiblies, et affermissez les genoux tremblants.
|
3 ¶ Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees.
|
4 Dites à ceux qui ont le cœur craintif : Soyez forts, n'ayez pas peur ; voici votre Dieu viendra avec vengeance, à savoir Dieu avec une rétribution ; il viendra lui-même, et vous sauvera.
|
4 Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you.
|
5 Alors les yeux des aveugles seront ouverts, et les oreilles des sourds seront débouchées.
|
5 Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.
|
6 Alors le boiteux sautera comme un cerf, et la langue du muet chantera ; car des eaux jailliront dans le désert, et des ruisseaux dans le lieu aride.
|
6 Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.
|
7 Et le sol desséché deviendra un étang, et la terre altérée des sources d'eau ; et dans le repaire des dragons, où ils faisaient leur gîte, deviendra un herbage avec roseaux et joncs.
|
7 And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: in the habitation of dragons, where each lay, shall be grass with reeds and rushes.
|
8 Et il y aura là une grande route et un chemin, et il sera appelé Le chemin de sainteté le souillé n'y passera pas ; mais il sera pour ceux-là les voyageurs, bien qu'insensés, ne s'y égareront pas.
|
8 And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.
|
9 Là il n'y aura pas de lion, ni aucune bête vorace n'y montera, il ne s'y en trouvera pas ; mais les rachetés y marcheront.
|
9 No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there:
|
10 Et les rançonnés du SEIGNEUR retourneront et viendront à Zion (Sion) avec des chants et une joie éternelle sur leur tête Ils obtiendront joie et bonheur ; et la douleur et le gémissement s'enfuiront.
|
10 And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.
