1 Ho, quiconque a soif, venez aux eaux, et vous qui n'avez pas d'argent, venez, achetez et mangez ; oui, venez, achetez sans argent et sans prix, du vin et du lait.
|
1 Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.
|
2 Pourquoi dépensez-vous l'argent pour ce qui n'est pas du pain ? Et votre labeur pour ce qui ne rassasie pas ? Prêtez-moi bien attention, et mangez ce qui est bon, et laissez votre âme se délecter de choses grasses.
|
2 Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.
|
3 Inclinez votre oreille, et venez à moi ; entendez, et votre âme vivra ; et je traiterai avec vous une alliance éternelle, à savoir les miséricordes immuables de David.
|
3 Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.
|
4 Voici, je l'ai donné comme témoin aux peuples, un conducteur, et commandant des peuples.
|
4 Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people.
|
5 Voici, tu appelleras une nation que tu ne connais pas, et les nations qui ne te connaissaient pas accourront vers toi, à cause du SEIGNEUR ton Dieu, et du Saint d'Israël, car il t'a glorifié.
|
5 Behold, thou shalt call a nation that thou knowest not, and nations that knew not thee shall run unto thee because of the LORD thy God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for he hath glorified thee.
|
6 ¶ Cherchez le SEIGNEUR pendant qu'il peut être trouvé, appelez-le, tandis qu'il est près.
|
6 ¶ Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
|
7 Que le pervers abandonne son chemin, et l'homme inique ses pensées ; et qu'il retourne au SEIGNEUR, et il lui fera miséricorde, et à notre Dieu, car il pardonnera abondamment.
|
7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
|
8 ¶ Car mes pensées ne sont pas vos pensées, et vos chemins ne sont pas mes chemins, dit le SEIGNEUR.
|
8 ¶ For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
|
9 Car comme les cieux sont plus élevés que la terre, ainsi mes chemins sont plus élevés que vos chemins et mes pensées plus que vos pensées.
|
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
|
10 Car, comme la pluie et la neige descendent du ciel, et n'y retournent pas, mais arrosent la terre et l'a fait produire, et germer afin qu'elle donne de la semence au semeur et du pain à celui qui mange,
|
10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
|
11 Ainsi sera ma parole, qui sort de ma bouche ; elle ne retournera pas à moi sans effet, mais elle accomplira ce que j'ai voulu, et elle prospérera dans la chose pour laquelle je l'ai envoyée.
|
11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
|
12 Car vous sortirez avec joie, et vous serez conduits en paix ; les montagnes et les collines éclateront devant vous en chantant, et tous les arbres des champs battront des mains.
|
12 For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
|
13 Au lieu du buisson croîtra le cyprès, au lieu de l'épine croîtra le myrte ; et ceci fera connaître le nom du SEIGNEUR, un signe perpétuel, qui ne sera pas retranché.
|
13 Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.
