1 Ainsi dit le SEIGNEUR : Gardez le jugement, et pratiquez la justice ; car mon salut est près de venir, et ma rectitude d'être révélée.

 1 Thus saith the LORD, Keep ye judgment, and do justice: for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed.

2 Bénis est l'homme qui fait cela, et le fils de l'homme qui s'en empare ; qui garde le shabbat pour ne pas le profaner, et qui garde sa main de faire aucun mal.

 2 Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that layeth hold on it; that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil.

3 ¶ Et que le fils de l'étranger, qui s'est joint au SEIGNEUR, ne parle pas, disant : Le SEIGNEUR m'a entièrement séparé de son peuple. ; et que l'eunuque ne dise pas Voici, je suis un arbre sec.

 3 ¶ Neither let the son of the stranger, that hath joined himself to the LORD, speak, saying, The LORD hath utterly separated me from his people: neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree.

4 Car ainsi dit le Seigneur au sujet des eunuques qui gardent mes shabbats, et qui choisissent les choses qui me font plaisir et maintiennent mon alliance,

 4 For thus saith the LORD unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and take hold of my covenant;

5 Je leur donnerai dans ma maison et dans mes murs une place, et un nom meilleur que de fils et de filles ; je leur donnerai un nom perpétuel, qui ne sera pas retranché.

 5 Even unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.

6 Et les fils de l'étranger, qui se joignent au SEIGNEUR pour le servir, et pour aimer le nom du SEIGNEUR, pour être ses serviteurs, quiconque garde le shabbat pour ne pas le profaner, et qui maintient mon alliance ;

 6 Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant;

7 Et même je les amènerai sur ma sainte montagne, et les rendrai joyeux dans ma maison de prière ; leurs offrandes consumées et leurs sacrifices seront acceptés sur mon autel ; car ma maison sera appelée une maison de prière pour tous peuples.

 7 Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.

8 Le Seigneur DIEU qui rassemble les expulsés d'Israël dit : Cependant j'en rassemblerai d'autres vers lui, outre ceux qui y sont déjà rassemblés.

 8 The Lord GOD which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith, Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him.

9 ¶ Vous, toutes les bêtes des champs, venez dévorer, oui, vous toutes les bêtes de la forêt.

 9 ¶ All ye beasts of the field, come to devour, yea, all ye beasts in the forest.

10 Ses sentinelles sont aveugles ; elles sont toutes ignorantes ce sont toutes des chiens muets, qui ne peuvent aboyer, dormant, se tenant couchés, aimant à sommeiller.

 10 His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.

11 Oui, ce sont des chiens voraces, qui n'ont jamais assez, et ce sont des bergers qui ne peuvent pas comprendre, ils se sont tous tournés vers leur propre chemin, chacun pour son propre profit, jusqu'au dernier.

 11 Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.

12 Venez, disent-ils, je vais chercher du vin, et nous nous enivrerons de boisson forte ; et demain sera comme aujourd'hui, et beaucoup plus encore abondant.

 12 Come ye, say they, I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and to morrow shall be as this day, and much more abundant.
