1 Et si une âme pèche et entend la voix du jurement, et est témoin, soit qu’il a vu ou su à ce sujet, s’il ne le déclare pas, alors il portera son iniquité.

 1 And if a soul sin, and hear the voice of swearing, and is a witness, whether he hath seen or known of it; if he do not utter it, then he shall bear his iniquity.

2 Ou si une âme touche quelque chose souillée, que ce soit la carcasse d’une bête souillée, ou la carcasse de bétail souillé, ou la carcasse de choses rampantes souillées, si cela lui est caché, il sera aussi souillé et coupable.

 2 Or if a soul touch any unclean thing, whether it be a carcase of an unclean beast, or a carcase of unclean cattle, or the carcase of unclean creeping things, and if it be hidden from him; he also shall be unclean, and guilty.

3 Ou s’il touche la souillure de l’homme, quelque soit la souillure par laquelle un homme se sera corrompu, si cela lui est caché, quand il le connaît, alors il sera coupable.

 3 Or if he touch the uncleanness of man, whatsoever uncleanness it be that a man shall be defiled withal, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guilty.

4 Ou si une âme jure, prononçant de ses lèvres de faire du mal ou du bien, quelque soit ce qu’un homme prononce par serment, que cela lui soit caché, quand il le connaît, il sera coupable d’un de ceux-ci.

 4 Or if a soul swear, pronouncing with his lips to do evil, or to do good, whatsoever it be that a man shall pronounce with an oath, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guilty in one of these.

5 Et il arrivera, quand il sera coupable dans l’une de ces choses, qu’il confessera qu’il a péché dans cette chose.

 5 And it shall be, when he shall be guilty in one of these things, that he shall confess that he hath sinned in that thing:

6 Et iI amènera son offrande de transgression au SEIGNEUR pour son péché qu’il a commis, une femelle du troupeau, un agneau ou un chevreau des chèvres, pour une offrande du péché ; et le prêtre fera une expiation pour lui concernant son péché.

 6 And he shall bring his trespass offering unto the LORD for his sin which he hath sinned, a female from the flock, a lamb or a kid of the goats, for a sin offering; and the priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his sin.

7 Et s’il ne lui est pas possible d’amener un agneau, alors il apportera pour sa transgression, qu’il a commise, deux tourterelles, ou deux jeunes pigeons au SEIGNEUR, l’un pour une offrande du péché, et l’autre pour une offrande consumée.

 7 And if he be not able to bring a lamb, then he shall bring for his trespass, which he hath committed, two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, unto the LORD; one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering.

8 Et il les apportera au prêtre, qui offrira celui qui est pour l’offrande de péché en premier, et il lui tordra sa tête à son cou, mais ne la divisera pas ;

 8 And he shall bring them unto the priest, who shall offer that which is for the sin offering first, and wring off his head from his neck, but shall not divide it asunder:

9 Et il aspergera du sang de l’offrande du péché, sur le côté de l’autel, et le reste du sang sera répandu au pied de l’autel ; c’est une offrande du péché.

 9 And he shall sprinkle of the blood of the sin offering upon the side of the altar; and the rest of the blood shall be wrung out at the bottom of the altar: it is a sin offering.

10 Et il offrira le second pour une offrande consumée, selon la coutume ; le prêtre fera une expiation pour lui pour son péché qu’il a commis, et il lui sera pardonné.

 10 And he shall offer the second for a burnt offering, according to the manner: and the priest shall make an atonement for him for his sin which he hath sinned, and it shall be forgiven him.

11 ¶ Mais s’il ne lui est pas possible d’apporter deux tourterelles ou deux jeunes pigeons, alors celui qui a péché apportera pour son offrande le dixième d’un épha de fine farine, pour une offrande du péché ; il ne mettra pas d’huile dessus, il n’y mettra aucun encens dessus ; car c’est une offrande du péché.

 11 ¶ But if he be not able to bring two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, then he that sinned shall bring for his offering the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a sin offering; he shall put no oil upon it, neither shall he put any frankincense thereon: for it is a sin offering.

12 Puis il l’apportera au prêtre, le prêtre en prendra une pleine main, c’est-à-dire pour une commémoration de celle-ci, et la brûlera sur l’autel, selon les offrandes faites par feu au SEIGNEUR ; c’est une offrande du péché.

 12 Then shall he bring it to the priest, and the priest shall take his handful of it, even a memorial thereof, and burn it on the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the LORD: it is a sin offering.

13 Et le prêtre fera une expiation pour cet homme, quant à son péché qu’il a commis en l’une de ces choses-là, il lui sera pardonné ; le reste sera pour le prêtre, comme une offrande de farine.

 13 And the priest shall make an atonement for him as touching his sin that he hath sinned in one of these, and it shall be forgiven him: and the remnant shall be the priest’s, as a meat offering.

14 Et le SEIGNEUR parla à Moïse, disant :

 14 ¶ And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

15 Si une âme commet une transgression et pèche par ignorance, dans les saintes choses du SEIGNEUR, il apportera alors au SEIGNEUR pour sa transgression, un bélier sans défaut, pris parmi les troupeaux, selon ton estimation en shekels (sicles) d’argent, selon le shekel du sanctuaire, pour une offrande de transgression.

 15 If a soul commit a trespass, and sin through ignorance, in the holy things of the LORD; then he shall bring for his trespass unto the LORD a ram without blemish out of the flocks, with thy estimation by shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for a trespass offering:

16 Et il fera amende pour le dommage qu’il a commis à l’égard de la chose sainte, et y ajoutera la cinquième partie et la donnera au prêtre ; et le prêtre fera une expiation pour lui avec le bélier de l’offrande de transgression, et il lui sera pardonné.

 16 And he shall make amends for the harm that he hath done in the holy thing, and shall add the fifth part thereto, and give it unto the priest: and the priest shall make an atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering, and it shall be forgiven him.

17 ¶ Et si une âme pèche, et commet une de ces choses qui sont défendues de faire par les commandements du SEIGNEUR, bien qu’il ne l’ait pas su, cependant il sera coupable et portera son iniquité.

 17 ¶ And if a soul sin, and commit any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of the LORD; though he wist it not, yet is he guilty, and shall bear his iniquity.

18 Et il apportera au prêtre un bélier sans défaut, pris du troupeau, selon ton estimation ; pour une offrande de transgression, le prêtre fera une expiation pour lui, concernant son ignorance dans laquelle il a erré et ne l’a pas su, et il lui sera pardonné.

 18 And he shall bring a ram without blemish out of the flock, with thy estimation, for a trespass offering, unto the priest: and the priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his ignorance wherein he erred and wist it not, and it shall be forgiven him.

19 C’est une offrande de transgression : il a certainement transgressé contre le SEIGNEUR.

 19 It is a trespass offering: he hath certainly trespassed against the LORD.
