1 Ce sont ici les générations d’Aaron et de Moïse, au jour que le SEIGNEUR parla à Moïse au mont Sinaï.
|
1 These also are the generations of Aaron and Moses in the day that the LORD spake with Moses in mount Sinai.
|
2 Et ce sont ici les noms des fils d’Aaron : Nadab, le premier-né, et Abihu, Eleazar et Ithamar.
|
2 And these are the names of the sons of Aaron; Nadab the firstborn, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
|
3 Ce sont là les noms des fils d’Aaron, les prêtres qui furent oints, lesquels il consacra pour servir en la fonction de prêtre.
|
3 These are the names of the sons of Aaron, the priests which were anointed, whom he consecrated to minister in the priest’s office.
|
4 Et Nadab et Abihu moururent devant le SEIGNEUR lorsqu’ils offrirent un feu étranger devant le SEIGNEUR, dans le désert de Sinaï, et ils n’avaient pas d’enfants ; et Eleazar et Ithamar servirent en la fonction de prêtre, en présence d’Aaron, leur père.

4 And Nadab and Abihu died before the LORD, when they offered strange fire before the LORD, in the wilderness of Sinai, and they had no children: and Eleazar and Ithamar ministered in the priest’s office in the sight of Aaron their father.
|
5 ¶ Et le SEIGNEUR parla à Moïse disant :
|
5 ¶ And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
|
6 Fais approcher la tribu de Levi (Lévi), et fais-les se présenter devant Aaron, le prêtre, afin qu’ils puissent le servir ;
|
6 Bring the tribe of Levi near, and present them before Aaron the priest, that they may minister unto him.
|
7 Et ils garderont sa charge et la charge de toute la congrégation, devant le tabernacle de la congrégation, pour faire le service du tabernacle ;
|
7 And they shall keep his charge, and the charge of the whole congregation before the tabernacle of the congregation, to do the service of the tabernacle.
|
8 Et ils garderont tous les instruments du tabernacle de la congrégation, et auront la charge des enfants d’Israël, pour faire le service du tabernacle.
|
8 And they shall keep all the instruments of the tabernacle of the congregation, and the charge of the children of Israel, to do the service of the tabernacle.
|
9 Ainsi tu donneras les Lévites à Aaron et à ses fils ; ils lui sont entièrement donnés d’entre les enfants d’Israël.
|
9 And thou shalt give the Levites unto Aaron and to his sons: they are wholly given unto him out of the children of Israel.
|
10 Et tu établiras Aaron et ses fils, et ils serviront en leur fonction de prêtre ; et l’étranger qui s’en approche sera mis à mort.
|
10 And thou shalt appoint Aaron and his sons, and they shall wait on their priest’s office: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.
|
11 Et le SEIGNEUR parla à Moïse disant :
|
11 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
|
12 Et moi, voici, j’ai pris les Lévites, d’entre les enfants d’Israël, à la place de tout premier-né qui ouvre l’utérus parmi les enfants d’Israël ; c’est pourquoi les Lévites seront à moi.
|
12 And I, behold, I have taken the Levites from among the children of Israel instead of all the firstborn that openeth the matrix among the children of Israel: therefore the Levites shall be mine;
|
13 Parce que tout premier-né est à moi¸ car au jour où je frappai tout premier-né dans la terre d’Égypte, je me suis sanctifié tout premier-né en Israël, depuis l’homme jusqu’à la bête ; ils seront à moi je suis le SEIGNEUR.
|
13 Because all the firstborn are mine; for on the day that I smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt I hallowed unto me all the firstborn in Israel, both man and beast: mine shall they be: I am the LORD.
|
14 ¶ Et le SEIGNEUR parla à Moïse, au désert de Sinaï disant :
|
14 ¶ And the LORD spake unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, saying,
|
15 Compte les enfants de Levi (Lévi), d’après la maison de leurs pères, selon leurs familles, tu compteras tous les mâles depuis l’âge d’un mois et au-dessus.
|
15 Number the children of Levi after the house of their fathers, by their families: every male from a month old and upward shalt thou number them.
|
16 Et Moïse les compta, selon la parole du SEIGNEUR, comme il lui avait été commandé.
|
16 And Moses numbered them according to the word of the LORD, as he was commanded.
|
17 Et ceux-ci étaient les fils de Levi (Lévi), selon leurs noms Gershon (Guershon), et Kohath (Kéhath) et Merari.
|
17 And these were the sons of Levi by their names; Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari.
|
18 Et ceux-ci sont les noms des fils de Gershon (Guershon), selon leurs familles Libni et Shimei.
|
18 And these are the names of the sons of Gershon by their families; Libni, and Shimei.
|
19 Et les fils de Kohath (Kéhath, selon leurs familles Amram, Izehar, Hebron et Uziel.
|
19 And the sons of Kohath by their families; Amram, and Izehar, Hebron, and Uzziel.
|
20 Et les fils de Merari, selon leurs familles Mahli et Mushi. Celles-ci sont les familles de Levi (Lévi), selon la maison de leurs pères.
|
20 And the sons of Merari by their families; Mahli, and Mushi. These are the families of the Levites according to the house of their fathers.
|
21 De Gershon (Guershon) était la famille des Libnites, et la famille des Shimites ; celles-ci sont les familles des Gershonites.
|
21 Of Gershon was the family of the Libnites, and the family of the Shimites: these are the families of the Gershonites.
|
22 Ceux d’entre eux qui furent comptés, suivant le nombre de tous les mâles, depuis l’âge d’un mois et au-dessus, ceux d’entre eux, dis-je, qui furent comptés, étaient de sept mille cinq-cents.
|
22 Those that were numbered of them, according to the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, even those that were numbered of them were seven thousand and five hundred.
|
23 Les familles des Gershonites camperont derrière le tabernacle, vers l’Ouest ;
|
23 The families of the Gershonites shall pitch behind the tabernacle westward.
|
24 Et le chef de la maison du père des Gershonites sera Eliasaph, le fils de Lael.
|
24 And the chief of the house of the father of the Gershonites shall be Eliasaph the son of Lael.
|
25 Et la charge des fils de Gershon (Guershon), quant au tabernacle de la congrégation, sera le tabernacle et la tente, sa couverture, et la tenture pour l’entrée du tabernacle de la congrégation,
|
25 And the charge of the sons of Gershon in the tabernacle of the congregation shall be the tabernacle, and the tent, the covering thereof, and the hanging for the door of the tabernacle of the congregation,
|
26 Et les tentures de la cour, et le rideau pour l’entrée de la cour, qui est près du tabernacle et de l’autel tout autour, et ses cordages pour tout son service.
|
26 And the hangings of the court, and the curtain for the door of the court, which is by the tabernacle, and by the altar round about, and the cords of it for all the service thereof.
|
27 ¶ Et de Kohath (Kéhath) était la famille des Amramites, et la famille des Izeharites, et la famille des Hebronites, et la famille des Uzzielites. Celles-ci sont les familles des Kohath (Kéhathites).
|
27 ¶ And of Kohath was the family of the Amramites, and the family of the Izeharites, and the family of the Hebronites, and the family of the Uzzielites: these are the families of the Kohathites.
|
28 En comptant tous les mâles, depuis l’âge d’un mois et au-dessus, ils étaient huit mille six cents, ayant la charge du sanctuaire.
|
28 In the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, were eight thousand and six hundred, keeping the charge of the sanctuary.
|
29 Les familles des fils de Kohath (Kéhath) camperont sur le côté du tabernacle, vers le Sud ;
|
29 The families of the sons of Kohath shall pitch on the side of the tabernacle southward.
|
30 Et le chef de la maison du père des familles des Kohath (Kéhathites) sera Elizaphan, le fils d’Uziel.
|
30 And the chief of the house of the father of the families of the Kohathites shall be Elizaphan the son of Uzziel.
|
31 Et leur charge sera l’arche, et la table, et le chandelier, et les autels et les récipients du sanctuaire avec lesquels ils font le service, et la tenture, et tout son service.
|
31 And their charge shall be the ark, and the table, and the candlestick, and the altars, and the vessels of the sanctuary wherewith they minister, and the hanging, and all the service thereof.
|
32 Et Eleazar, le fils d’Aaron, le prêtre, sera le chef des chefs des Lévites¸ et il avait la surintendance sur ceux qui étaient chargés du sanctuaire.
|
32 And Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest shall be chief over the chief of the Levites, and have the oversight of them that keep the charge of the sanctuary.
|
33 ¶ De Merari était la famille des Mahlites, et la famille des Mushites ; celles-ci sont les familles de Merari.
|
33 ¶ Of Merari was the family of the Mahlites, and the family of the Mushites: these are the families of Merari.
|
34 Et ceux d’entre eux qui furent comptés, suivant le nombre de tous les mâles, depuis l’âge d’un mois et au-dessus, étaient six mille deux cents.
|
34 And those that were numbered of them, according to the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, were six thousand and two hundred.
|
35 Et le chef de la maison du père des familles de Merari était Zuriel (Tsuriel), le fils d’Abihail ; ceux-ci camperont sur le côté du tabernacle, vers le Nord.
|
35 And the chief of the house of the father of the families of Merari was Zuriel the son of Abihail: these shall pitch on the side of the tabernacle northward.
|
36 Et sous la surveillance et la charge des fils de Merari seront les planches du tabernacle, et de ses barres, et de ses piliers, et de ses emboîtements, et de tous ses récipients, et tout ce qui y sert,
|
36 And under the custody and charge of the sons of Merari shall be the boards of the tabernacle, and the bars thereof, and the pillars thereof, and the sockets thereof, and all the vessels thereof, and all that serveth thereto,
|
37 Et les piliers de la cour tout autour, et leurs emboîtements, et leurs pieux et leurs cordages.
|
37 And the pillars of the court round about, and their sockets, and their pins, and their cords.
|
38 ¶ Et ceux qui campent devant le tabernacle, vers l’Est, savoir devant le tabernacle de la congrégation vers l’Est, seront Moïse, et Aaron, et ses fils, ayant la charge du sanctuaire pour la charge des enfants d’Israël ; et l’étranger qui s’en approche sera mis à mort.
|
38 ¶ But those that encamp before the tabernacle toward the east, even before the tabernacle of the congregation eastward, shall be Moses, and Aaron and his sons, keeping the charge of the sanctuary for the charge of the children of Israel; and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.
|
39 Tous ceux des Lévites qui furent comptés, lesquels Moïse et Aaron comptèrent, de part en part de leurs familles, suivant le commandement du SEIGNEUR, tous les mâles, depuis l’âge d’un mois et au-dessus, étaient vingt-deux mille.
|
39 All that were numbered of the Levites, which Moses and Aaron numbered at the commandment of the LORD, throughout their families, all the males from a month old and upward, were twenty and two thousand.
|
40 ¶ Et le SEIGNEUR dit à Moïse : Compte tous les premiers-nés mâles des enfants d’Israël, depuis l’âge d’un mois et au-dessus, et relève le nombre de leurs noms.
|
40 ¶ And the LORD said unto Moses, Number all the firstborn of the males of the children of Israel from a month old and upward, and take the number of their names.
|
41 Et tu prendras les Lévites pour moi, (je suis le SEIGNEUR), à la place de tous les premiers-nés parmi les enfants d’Israël ; et le bétail des Lévites, à la place de tous les premiers-nés du bétail des enfants d’Israël.
|
41 And thou shalt take the Levites for me (I am the LORD) instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel; and the cattle of the Levites instead of all the firstlings among the cattle of the children of Israel.
|
42 Et Moïse fit le compte, comme le SEIGNEUR le lui avait commandé, tous les premiers-nés parmi les enfants d’Israël ;
|
42 And Moses numbered, as the LORD commanded him, all the firstborn among the children of Israel.
|
43 Et tous les premiers-nés mâles, selon le nombre des noms, depuis l’âge d’un mois et au-dessus, de ceux qui furent comptés, furent vingt-deux mille deux cent soixante-treize.
|
43 And all the firstborn males by the number of names, from a month old and upward, of those that were numbered of them, were twenty and two thousand two hundred and threescore and thirteen.
|
44 ¶ Et le SEIGNEUR parla à Moïse, en disant :
|
44 ¶ And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
|
45 Prends les Lévites à la place de tous les premiers-nés parmi les enfants d’Israël, et le bétail des Lévites, à la place de leur bétail ; et les Lévites seront à moi, je suis le SEIGNEUR.
|
45 Take the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel, and the cattle of the Levites instead of their cattle; and the Levites shall be mine: I am the LORD.
|
46 Et pour ceux qui doivent être rachetés des deux cent soixante-treize des premiers-nés des enfants d’Israël, qui sont plus que les Lévites,
|
46 And for those that are to be redeemed of the two hundred and threescore and thirteen of the firstborn of the children of Israel, which are more than the Levites;
|
47 Tu prendras cinq shekels par tête, selon la liste de personnes ; tu les prendras selon le shekel du sanctuaire ; (le shekel est de vingt guéras ;
|
47 Thou shalt even take five shekels apiece by the poll, after the shekel of the sanctuary shalt thou take them: (the shekel is twenty gerahs:)
|
48 Et tu donneras l’argent de ceux qui sont en surplus parmi ceux qui auront été rachetés, à Aaron et à ses fils.
|
48 And thou shalt give the money, wherewith the odd number of them is to be redeemed, unto Aaron and to his sons.
|
49 Et Moïse prit l’argent du rachat de ceux qui étaient de plus, que ceux qui avaient été rachetés par les Lévites.
|
49 And Moses took the redemption money of them that were over and above them that were redeemed by the Levites:
|
50 Il prit l’argent des premiers-nés des enfants d’Israël, mille trois cent soixante-cinq shekels, selon le shekel du sanctuaire.
|
50 Of the firstborn of the children of Israel took he the money; a thousand three hundred and threescore and five shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary:
|
51 Et Moïse donna l’argent de ceux qui étaient rachetés à Aaron et à ses fils, suivant la parole du SEIGNEUR, comme le SEIGNEUR l’avait commandé à Moïse.
|
51 And Moses gave the money of them that were redeemed unto Aaron and to his sons, according to the word of the LORD, as the LORD commanded Moses.
