1 Et le SEIGNEUR dit à Aaron : Toi et tes fils, et la maison de ton père avec toi, vous porterez l’iniquité du sanctuaire ; et toi, et tes fils avec toi, vous porterez l’iniquité de votre prêtrise.

 1 And the LORD said unto Aaron, Thou and thy sons and thy father’s house with thee shall bear the iniquity of the sanctuary: and thou and thy sons with thee shall bear the iniquity of your priesthood.

2 Et tes frères aussi, de la tribu de Levi (Lévi), la tribu de ton père, amène-les avec toi, afin qu’ils se joignent à toi et qu’ils te servent ; mais toi et tes fils avec toi, vous servirez devant le tabernacle du témoignage.

 2 And thy brethren also of the tribe of Levi, the tribe of thy father, bring thou with thee, that they may be joined unto thee, and minister unto thee: but thou and thy sons with thee shall minister before the tabernacle of witness.

3 Et ils garderont ta charge, et la charge de tout le tabernacle ; seulement ils n’approcheront pas des récipients du sanctuaire, ni de l’autel, pour que ni eux ni vous, ne meurent.

 3 And they shall keep thy charge, and the charge of all the tabernacle: only they shall not come nigh the vessels of the sanctuary and the altar, that neither they, nor ye also, die.

4 Et ils se joindront à toi, et garderont la charge du tabernacle de la congrégation, pour tout le service du tabernacle, et nul étranger n’approchera de vous.

 4 And they shall be joined unto thee, and keep the charge of the tabernacle of the congregation, for all the service of the tabernacle: and a stranger shall not come nigh unto you.

5 Et vous garderez la charge du sanctuaire et la charge de l’autel, afin qu’il n’y ait plus de colère contre les enfants d’Israël.

 5 And ye shall keep the charge of the sanctuary, and the charge of the altar: that there be no wrath any more upon the children of Israel.

6 Et moi, voici, j’ai pris vos frères les Lévites, du milieu des enfants d’Israël ; ils vous sont donnés en don pour le SEIGNEUR, pour faire le service du tabernacle de la congrégation.

 6 And I, behold, I have taken your brethren the Levites from among the children of Israel: to you they are given as a gift for the LORD, to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation.

7 C’est pourquoi toi, et tes fils avec toi, vous accomplirez la fonction de prêtre, en tout ce qui concerne l’autel et à l’intérieur du voile ; et vous ferez le service. Je vous ai donné votre fonction de prêtre comme un service de don ; et l’étranger qui approchera, sera mis à mort.

 7 Therefore thou and thy sons with thee shall keep your priest’s office for every thing of the altar, and within the vail; and ye shall serve: I have given your priest’s office unto you as a service of gift: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.

8 ¶ Et le SEIGNEUR dit à Aaron : Voici, je t’ai aussi donné la charge de mes offrandes élevées sur toutes les choses sanctifiées des enfants d’Israël ; je te les ai données, et à tes fils, à cause de l’onction, par une ordonnance perpétuelle.

 8 ¶ And the LORD spake unto Aaron, Behold, I also have given thee the charge of mine heave offerings of all the hallowed things of the children of Israel; unto thee have I given them by reason of the anointing, and to thy sons, by an ordinance for ever.

9 Ceci sera à toi des choses très saintes, hors du feu toutes leurs oblations, soit leur offrande de farine, soit leur offrande pour le péché, soit leur offrande de transgression, qu’ils m’apporteront, seront choses très saintes pour toi et pour tes fils.

 9 This shall be thine of the most holy things, reserved from the fire: every oblation of theirs, every meat offering of theirs, and every sin offering of theirs, and every trespass offering of theirs, which they shall render unto me, shall be most holy for thee and for thy sons.

10 Tu les mangeras dans le lieu très saint ; tout mâle en mangera ; ce sera saint pour toi.

 10 In the most holy place shalt thou eat it; every male shall eat it: it shall be holy unto thee.

11 Et ceci est à toi l’offrande élevée de leurs dons, sur toutes les offrandes tournoyées des enfants d’Israël ; je te les ai données, à toi, à tes fils et à tes filles avec toi, par un statut pour toujours quiconque sera net dans ta maison en mangera.

 11 And this is thine; the heave offering of their gift, with all the wave offerings of the children of Israel: I have given them unto thee, and to thy sons and to thy daughters with thee, by a statute for ever: every one that is clean in thy house shall eat of it.

12 Tout le meilleur de l’huile et tout le meilleur du vin et du blé, leurs prémices qu’ils offriront au SEIGNEUR, je te les donne.

 12 All the best of the oil, and all the best of the wine, and of the wheat, the firstfruits of them which they shall offer unto the LORD, them have I given thee.

13 Et quelque soient les premiers fruits dans la terre, qu’ils apporteront au SEIGNEUR, seront à toi ; quiconque sera net dans ta maison en mangera.

 13 And whatsoever is first ripe in the land, which they shall bring unto the LORD, shall be thine; every one that is clean in thine house shall eat of it.

14 Tout ce qui est voué en Israël sera à toi.

 14 Every thing devoted in Israel shall be thine.

15 Tout ce qui ouvre l’utérus, de toute chair, qu’ils apporteront au SEIGNEUR, soit des hommes, soit des bêtes, sera à toi ; néanmoins, tu ne manqueras pas de racheter le premier-né de l’homme ; et tu rachèteras le premier-né d’une bête impure.

 15 Every thing that openeth the matrix in all flesh, which they bring unto the LORD, whether it be of men or beasts, shall be thine: nevertheless the firstborn of man shalt thou surely redeem, and the firstling of unclean beasts shalt thou redeem.

16 Et ceux qui doivent être rachetés, tu le rachèteras depuis l’âge d’un mois, selon ton estimation, pour le prix de cinq shekels d’argent, selon le shekel du sanctuaire, qui est de vingt geras.

 16 And those that are to be redeemed from a month old shalt thou redeem, according to thine estimation, for the money of five shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary, which is twenty gerahs.

17 Mais tu ne rachèteras pas le premier-né de la vache, ou le premier-né du mouton, ou le premier-né de la chèvre ; ils sont saints. Tu répandras leur sang sur l’autel, et tu brûleras leur graisse en offrande faite par feu, en une senteur suave au SEIGNEUR.

 17 But the firstling of a cow, or the firstling of a sheep, or the firstling of a goat, thou shalt not redeem; they are holy: thou shalt sprinkle their blood upon the altar, and shalt burn their fat for an offering made by fire, for a sweet savour unto the LORD.

18 Et leur chair sera à toi ; comme la poitrine tournoyée, et comme l’épaule droite sont à toi.

 18 And the flesh of them shall be thine, as the wave breast and as the right shoulder are thine.

19 Toutes les offrandes élevées des choses saintes que les enfants d’Israël offrent au SEIGNEUR, je te les ai données à toi, à tes fils, et à tes filles avec toi, par un statut pour toujours ; c’est une alliance de sel pour toujours devant le SEIGNEUR, pour toi et pour ta semence avec toi.

 19 All the heave offerings of the holy things, which the children of Israel offer unto the LORD, have I given thee, and thy sons and thy daughters with thee, by a statute for ever: it is a covenant of salt for ever before the LORD unto thee and to thy seed with thee.

20 ¶ Et le SEIGNEUR dit à Aaron : Tu n’auras aucun d’héritage dans leur terre ; tu n’auras pas non plus de part au milieu d’eux ; je suis ta part et ton héritage au milieu des enfants d’Israël.

 20 ¶ And the LORD spake unto Aaron, Thou shalt have no inheritance in their land, neither shalt thou have any part among them: I am thy part and thine inheritance among the children of Israel.

21 Et, voici, j’ai donné aux enfants de Levi (Lévi) pour héritage toutes les dîmes d’Israël, pour leur service auquel ils servent, savoir le service du tabernacle de la congrégation.

 21 And, behold, I have given the children of Levi all the tenth in Israel for an inheritance, for their service which they serve, even the service of the tabernacle of the congregation.

22 Et les enfants d’Israël n’approcheront plus du tabernacle de la congrégation, de peur qu’ils ne portent le péché et ne meurent.

 22 Neither must the children of Israel henceforth come nigh the tabernacle of the congregation, lest they bear sin, and die.

23 Mais les Lévites feront le service du tabernacle de la congrégation, et ils porteront leur iniquité ; ce sera un statut pour toujours à travers vos générations ; et ils ne posséderont pas d’héritage au milieu des enfants d’Israël.

 23 But the Levites shall do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation, and they shall bear their iniquity: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations, that among the children of Israel they have no inheritance.

24 Mais j’ai donné pour héritage aux Lévites les dîmes des enfants d’Israël, qu’ils offrent au SEIGNEUR en offrande élevée ; c’est pourquoi, je leur ai dit : Ils ne posséderont pas d’héritage au milieu des enfants d’Israël.

 24 But the tithes of the children of Israel, which they offer as an heave offering unto the LORD, I have given to the Levites to inherit: therefore I have said unto them, Among the children of Israel they shall have no inheritance.

25 ¶ Et le SEIGNEUR parla à Moïse disant:

 25 ¶ And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

26 Ainsi parle aux Lévites, et dis leur : Quand vous prenez des enfants d’Israël les dîmes que je vous ai données venant d’eux pour votre héritage, alors vous en offrirez une offrande élevée au SEIGNEUR, savoir la dixième partie de la dîme.

 26 Thus speak unto the Levites, and say unto them, When ye take of the children of Israel the tithes which I have given you from them for your inheritance, then ye shall offer up an heave offering of it for the LORD, even a tenth part of the tithe.

27 Et votre offrande élevée vous sera comptée comme si c’était le grain dans l’aire et comme l’abondance de la cuve.

 27 And this your heave offering shall be reckoned unto you, as though it were the corn of the threshingfloor, and as the fulness of the winepress.

28 Ainsi, vous aussi vous offrirez une offrande élevée au SEIGNEUR de toutes vos dîmes, que vous recevrez des enfants d’Israël ; et vous en donnerez l’offrande élevée du SEIGNEUR à Aaron, le prêtre.

 28 Thus ye also shall offer an heave offering unto the LORD of all your tithes, which ye receive of the children of Israel; and ye shall give thereof the LORD’S heave offering to Aaron the priest.

29 De tous vos dons qui vous seront donnés, vous offrirez toute l’offrande élevée du SEIGNEUR, de tout le meilleur, savoir la partie sanctifiée.

 29 Out of all your gifts ye shall offer every heave offering of the LORD, of all the best thereof, even the hallowed part thereof out of it.

30 C’est pourquoi tu leur diras : Quand vous aurez élevé le meilleur de la dîme, alors elle sera comptée aux Lévites comme la rapport dans l’aire et comme le rapport de la cuve.

 30 Therefore thou shalt say unto them, When ye have heaved the best thereof from it, then it shall be counted unto the Levites as the increase of the threshingfloor, and as the increase of the winepress.

31 Et vous la mangerez en tout lieu, vous et votre maisonnée ; car c’est votre salaire pour votre service dans le tabernacle de la congrégation.

 31 And ye shall eat it in every place, ye and your households: for it is your reward for your service in the tabernacle of the congregation.

32 Et ainsi vous ne porterez aucun péché, quand vous en aurez élevé ce qu’il y a de meilleur, et vous ne souillerez pas non plus les choses saintes des enfants d’Israël, et vous ne mourrez pas.

 32 And ye shall bear no sin by reason of it, when ye have heaved from it the best of it: neither shall ye pollute the holy things of the children of Israel, lest ye die.
