A Song of degrees.
|
1 Depuis les profondeurs ai-je crié vers toi, ô SEIGNEUR.
|
1 Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O LORD.
|
2 Seigneur, entends ma voix: que tes oreilles soient attentives à la voix de mes supplications.
|
2 Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.
|
3 Si toi, SEIGNEUR, tu remarquais les iniquités, ô Seigneur, qui subsisterait?
|
3 If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?
|
4 Mais il y a le pardon avec toi, afin que tu puisses être craint.
|
4 But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.
|
5 J’attends le SEIGNEUR; mon âme attend, et en sa parole j’espère.
|
5 I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.
|
6 Mon âme attend le Seigneur plus que ceux qui guettent le matin: je dis, plus que ceux qui guettent le matin.
|
6 My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.
|
7 Qu’Israël espère dans le SEIGNEUR: car avec le SEIGNEUR il y a la miséricorde et avec lui est l’abondante rédemption.
|
7 Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.
|
8 Et il rachètera Israël de toutes ses iniquités.
|
8 And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
