1 Et j’entendis une grande voix venant du temple disant aux sept anges: Allez et répandez sur la terre les fioles du courroux de Dieu.

 1 And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.

2 Et le premier s’en alla, et répandit sa fiole sur la terre; et il tomba un ulcère nauséabond et douloureux sur les hommes qui avaient la marque de la bête, et sur ceux qui adoraient son image.

 2 And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.

3 Et le second ange répandit sa fiole sur la mer; et elle devint comme le sang d’un homme mort: et toute âme vivante mourut dans la mer.

 3 And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.

4 Et le troisième ange répandit sa fiole sur les fleuves et sur les sources des eaux; et ils devinrent du sang.

 4 And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.

5 Et j’entendis l’ange des eaux dire: Tu es droit, Ô Seigneur, qui es, et étais, et seras, parce que tu as jugé ainsi.

 5 And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus.

6 Car ils ont versé le sang des saints et des prophètes, et tu leur as donné du sang à boire; car ils en sont dignes.

 6 For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.

7 Et j’en entendis un autre depuis l’autel dire: Oui certainement, Seigneur Dieu Tout-Puissant, vrais et droits sont tes jugements.

 7 And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.

8 Et le quatrième ange répandit sa fiole sur le soleil; et le pouvoir lui fut donné de brûler les hommes par le feu.

 8 And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.

9 Et les hommes furent brûlés par une grande chaleur, et ils blasphémèrent le nom de Dieu, lequel a pouvoir sur ces plaies: et ils ne se repentirent pas pour lui rendre gloire.

 9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.

10 Et le cinquième ange répandit sa fiole sur le siège de la bête; et son royaume fut rempli d’obscurité; et ils mordaient leurs langues de douleur,

 10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,

11 Et blasphémèrent le Dieu du ciel à cause de leurs douleurs et de leurs ulcères, et ils ne se repentirent pas de leurs actions.

 11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.

12 Et le sixième ange répandit sa fiole sur le grand fleuve Euphrate; et son eau fut tarie, afin que le chemin des rois de l’est puisse être préparé.

 12 And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.

13 Et je vis trois esprits immondes comme des grenouilles sortir de la gueule du dragon, et de la gueule de la bête, et de la bouche du faux prophète.

 13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

14 Car ils sont les esprits de diables, faisant des miracles, lesquels vont vers les rois de la terre et du monde entier, afin de les rassembler à la bataille de ce grand jour du Dieu Tout-Puissant.

 14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

15 Voici, je viens comme un voleur. Béni est celui qui veille, et qui garde ses vêtements, de peur qu’il ne marche nu, et qu’on ne voie sa honte.

 15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

16 Et il les rassembla dans un lieu appelé dans la langue hébraïque Armageddon.

 16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.

17 Et le septième ange répandit sa fiole dans l’air; et là vint une grande voix hors du temple du ciel, provenant du trône, disant: C’est fait.

 17 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.

18 Et il y eut des voix, et des tonnerres, et des éclairs; et il y eut un grand tremblement de terre, tel qu'il n'y en a pas eu depuis que les hommes sont sur la terre, un tremblement de terre si puissant, et si grand.

 18 And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.

19 Et la grande ville fut divisée en trois parties, et les villes des nations tombèrent: et la grande Babylone revint en mémoire devant Dieu, pour lui donner la coupe du vin de la férocité de son courroux.

 19 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.

20 Et toute île s’enfuit, et les montagnes ne furent plus trouvées.

 20 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.

21 Et il tomba sur les hommes une grosse grêle du ciel, chaque grêlon d’environ le poids d’un talent: et les hommes blasphémèrent Dieu à cause de la plaie de la grêle; car cette plaie était extrêmement grande.

 21 And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.
