1 Or Pierre et Jean montèrent ensemble au temple à l’heure de la prière, soit à la neuvième heure.

 1 Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.

2 Et un certain homme boiteux depuis l’utérus de sa mère était porté, lequel ils mettaient chaque jour à la porte du temple, qui est appelée Belle, pour demander l’aumône à ceux qui entraient dans le temple;

 2 And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;

3 Qui voyant Pierre et Jean sur le point d’entrer dans le temple, leur demanda une aumône.

 3 Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.

4 Et Pierre, fixant ses yeux sur lui avec Jean, dit: Regarde-nous.

 4 And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.

5 Et il leur prêta attention s’attendant à recevoir quelque chose d’eux.

 5 And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.

6 Alors Pierre dit: Je n’ai ni argent, ni or; mais ce que j’ai je te le donne: dans le nom de Jésus Christ de Nazareth lève-toi et marche.

 6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

7 Et il le prit par la main droite, et le leva: et immédiatement les os de ses pieds et de ses chevilles furent affermis.

 7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

8 Et lui sautant se tint debout, et marcha, et entra avec eux dans le temple, marchant, sautant et louant Dieu.

 8 And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.

9 Et tout le peuple le vit marchant et louant Dieu:

 9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God:

10 Et ils savaient que c’était lui qui était assis demandant l’aumône, à la Belle porte du temple: et ils furent remplis de surprise et de stupéfaction de ce qui lui était arrivé.

 10 And they knew that it was he which sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him.

11 Et comme l’homme boiteux, qui avait été guéri s’agrippait à Pierre et Jean, tout le peuple étant grandement surpris, accourut vers eux au porche appelé de Salomon.

 11 And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon’s, greatly wondering.

12 ¶ Et lorsque Pierre vit cela, il répondit au peuple: Vous, hommes d’Israël, pourquoi vous émerveillez-vous de ceci? ou pourquoi nous regardez-vous si intensément, comme si par notre propre pouvoir ou sainteté nous avions fait marcher cet homme?

 12 ¶ And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?

13 Le Dieu d’Abraham, et d’lsaac, et de Jacob, le Dieu de nos pères, a glorifié son Fils Jésus; lequel vous avez livré et l’avez renié en la présence de Pilate, lorsqu’il était déterminé de le laisser aller.

 13 The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go.

14 Mais vous avez renié le Seul Saint et le Juste, et désiré qu’on vous accorde un meurtrier;

 14 But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you;

15 Et vous avez tué le Prince de vie, que Dieu a ressuscité d’entre les morts; ce dont nous sommes témoins.

 15 And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.

16 Et son nom au moyen de la foi en son nom a rendu cet homme fort, que vous voyez et connaissez: oui, la foi qui est par lui, laquelle lui a donné cette parfaite santé en la présence de vous tous.

 16 And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

17 Et maintenant, frères, je sais que vous l’avez fait par cause d'ignorance, comme ont aussi fait vos dirigeants.

 17 And now, brethren, I wot that through ignorance ye did it, as did also your rulers.

18 Mais ces choses que Dieu avait montrées d’avance par la bouche de tous ses prophètes, que Christ devait souffrir, il a ainsi réalisé.

 18 But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled.

19 ¶ Repentez-vous donc et soyez convertis, afin que vos péchés puissent être effacés, lorsque viendront de la présence du Seigneur les temps de rafraîchissement;

 19 ¶ Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

20 Et il enverra Jésus Christ, qui vous a été prêché auparavant:

 20 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:

21 Lequel le ciel doit recevoir jusqu’au temps de restitution de toutes choses, dont Dieu a parlé par la bouche de tous ses saints prophètes, depuis que le monde commença.

 21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

22 Car Moïse a véritablement dit aux pères, Le Seigneur votre Dieu vous suscitera d’entre vos frères un prophète, semblable à moi; vous l’écouterez dans toutes les choses qu’il vous dira.

 22 For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.

23 Et il arrivera que toute âme qui n’écoutera pas ce prophète, sera détruite du milieu du peuple.

 23 And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.

24 Oui, et tous les prophètes depuis Samuel et ceux qui ont suivi ensuite, tous ceux qui ont parlé, ont de même prédit ces jours.

 24 Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days.

25 Vous êtes les enfants des prophètes, et de l’alliance que Dieu fit avec nos pères, disant à Abraham, Et en ta semence toutes les parentés de la terre seront bénies.

 25 Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.

26 À vous premièrement Dieu, ayant suscité son Fils Jésus, l’a envoyé pour vous bénir, en détournant chacun de vous de ses iniquités.

 26 Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.
