1 Maîtres, donnez à vos serviteurs ce qui est juste et équitable; sachant que vous aussi vous avez un Maître au ciel.
|
1 Masters, give unto your servants that which is just and equal; knowing that ye also have a Master in heaven.
|
2 Continuez dans la prière, et y veillez avec remerciement;
|
2 Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;
|
3 En outre priant aussi pour nous, afin que Dieu nous ouvre une porte pour l’élocution, pour exprimer le mystère de Christ, pour lequel je suis aussi dans les chaînes:
|
3 Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds:
|
4 Afin que je puisse le manifester, comme je dois en parler.
|
4 That I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.
|
5 Marchez dans la sagesse envers ceux qui sont du dehors, rachetant le moment.
|
5 Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.
|
6 Que votre langage soit à tous égards empreint de grâce, assaisonnée de sel, afin que vous puissiez savoir comment vous devez répondre à chaque homme.
|
6 Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.
|
7 Tychique qui est un frère bien-aimé, et un fidèle ministre, et compagnon de service dans le Seigneur, vous déclarera tout sur mon état:
|
7 All my state shall Tychicus declare unto you, who is a beloved brother, and a faithful minister and fellowservant in the Lord:
|
8 Lequel je vous ai envoyé avec le même dessein, afin qu’il puisse connaître votre état et qu’il réconforte vos cœurs;
|
8 Whom I have sent unto you for the same purpose, that he might know your estate, and comfort your hearts;
|
9 Avec Onésime, un fidèle et bien-aimé frère, qui est l’un d’entre vous. Ils vous feront connaître toutes les choses qui sont faites ici.
|
9 With Onesimus, a faithful and beloved brother, who is one of you. They shall make known unto you all things which are done here.
|
10 Aristarque, mon compagnon de captivité, vous salue, et Marc, le fils de la sœur de Barnabas (au sujet duquel vous avez reçu des ordres: s’il vient chez vous, recevez-le);
|
10 Aristarchus my fellowprisoner saluteth you, and Marcus, sister’s son to Barnabas, (touching whom ye received commandments: if he come unto you, receive him;)
|
11 Et Jésus, lequel est appelé Justus, qui sont de la circoncision. Ceux-ci sont mes seuls compagnons d’œuvre dans le royaume de Dieu, lesquels ont été pour moi un réconfort.
|
11 And Jesus, which is called Justus, who are of the circumcision. These only are my fellowworkers unto the kingdom of God, which have been a comfort unto me.
|
12 Épaphras, qui est l'un d’entre vous, un serviteur de Christ, vous salue, s’adonnant toujours avec ferveur pour vous en prières, pour que vous puissiez vous tenir parfaits et accomplis dans toute la volonté de Dieu.
|
12 Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.
|
13 Car je lui fais attestation, qu’il a un grand zèle pour vous et pour ceux qui sont à Laodicée et pour ceux à Hiérapolis.
|
13 For I bear him record, that he hath a great zeal for you, and them that are in Laodicea, and them in Hierapolis.
|
14 Luc, le médecin bien-aimé, et Démas vous saluent.
|
14 Luke, the beloved physician, and Demas, greet you.
|
15 Saluez les frères qui sont à Laodicée, et Nymphas, et l’église qui est dans sa maison.
|
15 Salute the brethren which are in Laodicea, and Nymphas, and the church which is in his house.
|
16 Et lorsque cette épître aura été lue parmi vous, faites qu’elle soit lue aussi dans l’église des Laodicéens; et que vous de même lisiez l’épître de Laodicée.
|
16 And when this epistle is read among you, cause that it be read also in the church of the Laodiceans; and that ye likewise read the epistle from Laodicea.
|
17 Et dites à Archippe, Prends garde au ministère que tu as reçu dans le Seigneur, afin que tu l’accomplisses.
|
17 And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it.
|
18 La salutation de la main de moi, Paul. Souvenez-vous de mes chaînes. Que la grâce soit avec vous. Amen.

18 The salutation by the hand of me Paul. Remember my bonds. Grace be with you. Amen.
