1 Et le SEIGNEUR parla à Moïse, disant :

 1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

2 Parle aux enfants d’Israël, pour qu’ils m’amènent une offrande : vous prendrez mon offrande de tout homme qui, volontairement la donnera de tout son cœur.

 2 Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring me an offering: of every man that giveth it willingly with his heart ye shall take my offering.

3 Et c’est ici l’offrande que vous prendrez d’eux : de l’or, de l’argent et du cuivre,

 3 And this is the offering which ye shall take of them; gold, and silver, and brass,

4 Et du bleu, de la pourpre, de l’écarlate, du fin lin, et du poil de chèvre,

 4 And blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats’ hair,

5 Des peaux de bélier teintes en rouge, et des peaux de blaireaux et du bois de Shittim (Sittim),

 5 And rams’ skins dyed red, and badgers’ skins, and shittim wood,

6 De l’huile pour le luminaire, des épices pour l’huile d’onction et pour l’encens odoriférant,

 6 Oil for the light, spices for anointing oil, and for sweet incense,

7 Des pierres d’onyx et des pierres pour sertir l’éphod et pour le plastron.

 7 Onyx stones, and stones to be set in the ephod, and in the breastplate.

8 Et ils me feront un sanctuaire, afin que je puisse demeurer parmi eux.

 8 And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them.

9 Selon tout ce que je te montre, suivant le modèle du tabernacle et le modèle de tous ses ustensiles, ainsi vous le ferez.

 9 According to all that I shew thee, after the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make it.

10 ¶ Et ils feront une arche en bois de Shittim (Sittim) ; de deux coudées et demie sera sa longueur, d’une coudée et demie sera sa largeur, et d’une coudée et demie sera sa hauteur.

 10 ¶ And they shall make an ark of shittim wood: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof.

11 Et tu la recouvriras d’or pur ; à l’intérieur et à l’extérieur tu la recouvriras, et tu feras sur elle une couronne d’or tout autour.

 11 And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, within and without shalt thou overlay it, and shalt make upon it a crown of gold round about.

12 Et tu fondras pour elle quatre anneaux d’or, et les placeras à ses quatre coins ; et deux anneaux seront à l’un de ses côtés, et deux anneaux à l’autre de ses côtés.

 12 And thou shalt cast four rings of gold for it, and put them in the four corners thereof; and two rings shall be in the one side of it, and two rings in the other side of it.

13 Et tu feras des barres en bois de Shittim (Sittim) et tu les recouvriras d’or.

 13 And thou shalt make staves of shittim wood, and overlay them with gold.

14 Et tu passeras les barres dans les anneaux, sur les côtés de l’arche, pour que l’arche puisse être portée grâce à elles.

 14 And thou shalt put the staves into the rings by the sides of the ark, that the ark may be borne with them.

15 Les barres resteront dans les anneaux de l’arche ; elles ne devront pas être retirées.

 15 The staves shall be in the rings of the ark: they shall not be taken from it.

16 Et tu mettras dans l’arche le témoignage que je te donnerai.

 16 And thou shalt put into the ark the testimony which I shall give thee.

17 Et tu feras un siège de miséricorde d’or pur : deux coudées et demie sera sa longueur et une coudée et demie sa largeur.

 17 And thou shalt make a mercy seat of pure gold: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof.

18 Et tu feras deux chérubins d’or ; tu les feras en ouvrage martelé aux deux extrémités du siège de miséricorde.

 18 And thou shalt make two cherubims of gold, of beaten work shalt thou make them, in the two ends of the mercy seat.

19 Et fais un chérubin à une extrémité et l’autre chérubin à l’autre extrémité ; c’est-à-dire vous ferez les chérubins ressortant du s siège de miséricorde à ses deux extrémités.

 19 And make one cherub on the one end, and the other cherub on the other end: even of the mercy seat shall ye make the cherubims on the two ends thereof.

20 Et les chérubins étendront leurs ailes en haut, couvrant de leurs ailes le siège de miséricorde et leurs faces seront tournées l’une vers l’autre ; les faces des chérubins regarderont vers le siège de miséricorde.

 20 And the cherubims shall stretch forth their wings on high, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and their faces shall look one to another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubims be.

21 Et tu mettras le siège de miséricorde sur le dessus de l’arche et dans l’arche tu mettras le témoignage que je te donnerai.

 21 And thou shalt put the mercy seat above upon the ark; and in the ark thou shalt put the testimony that I shall give thee.

22 Et là, je te rencontrerai et je m’entretiendrai avec toi, depuis le haut du siège de miséricorde, entre les deux chérubins qui sont sur l’arche du témoignage, de toutes les choses que je te commanderai pour les enfants d’Israël.

 22 And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubims which are upon the ark of the testimony, of all things which I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel.

23 ¶ Tu feras aussi une table en bois de Shittim (Sittim) : deux coudées sera sa longueur, une coudée sa largeur et une coudée et demie sa hauteur.

 23 ¶ Thou shalt also make a table of shittim wood: two cubits shall be the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof.

24 Tu la recouvriras d’or pur et tu lui feras une couronne d’or tout autour.

 24 And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, and make thereto a crown of gold round about.

25 Et tu lui feras, un rebord de la largeur d’une main tout autour et tu feras une couronne d’or à son rebord tout autour.

 25 And thou shalt make unto it a border of an hand breadth round about, and thou shalt make a golden crown to the border thereof round about.

26 Et tu lui feras quatre anneaux d’or et tu mettras les anneaux aux quatre coins qui sont à ses quatre pieds.

 26 And thou shalt make for it four rings of gold, and put the rings in the four corners that are on the four feet thereof.

27 Les anneaux seront le long du rebord, afin d’y mettre des barres, pour porter la table.

 27 Over against the border shall the rings be for places of the staves to bear the table.

28 Tu feras les barres en bois de Shittim (Sittim) et tu les recouvriras d’or, de manière à ce que la table puisse être portée par elles.

 28 And thou shalt make the staves of shittim wood, and overlay them with gold, that the table may be borne with them.

29 Et tu feras ses plats, et ses cuillers, et ses couvercles et ses coupes, elle sera couverte de tout cela ; tu les feras d’or pur.

 29 And thou shalt make the dishes thereof, and spoons thereof, and covers thereof, and bowls thereof, to cover withal: of pure gold shalt thou make them.

30 Et tu mettras sur la table le pain de présentation devant moi, toujours.

 30 And thou shalt set upon the table shewbread before me alway.

31 ¶ Et tu feras un chandelier d’or pur ; le chandelier sera un ouvrage martelé ; sa tige et ses branches, ses coupes, ses pommeaux et ses fleurs seront d’un seul tenant.

 31 ¶ And thou shalt make a candlestick of pure gold: of beaten work shall the candlestick be made: his shaft, and his branches, his bowls, his knops, and his flowers, shall be of the same.

32 Et six branches sortiront de ses côtés, trois branches du chandelier d’un côté et trois branches du chandelier de l’autre côté.

 32 And six branches shall come out of the sides of it; three branches of the candlestick out of the one side, and three branches of the candlestick out of the other side:

33  Trois coupes en forme d’amande, avec un pommeau et une fleur sur une branche ; et trois coupes en forme d’amande sur l’autre branche, avec un pommeau et une fleur : de même pour les six branches sortant du chandelier.

 33 Three bowls made like unto almonds, with a knop and a flower in one branch; and three bowls made like almonds in the other branch, with a knop and a flower: so in the six branches that come out of the candlestick.

34 Et sur le chandelier il y aura quatre coupes en forme d’amande, avec ses pommeaux et ses fleurs.

 34 And in the candlestick shall be four bowls made like unto almonds, with their knops and their flowers.

35 Et il y aura un pommeau sous deux des branches de celui-ci et un pommeau sous deux autres de ses branches et un pommeau sous deux autres de ses branches, de même pour les six branches procédant du chandelier.

 35 And there shall be a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, according to the six branches that proceed out of the candlestick.

36 Leurs pommeaux et leurs branches seront d’un seul tenant avec lui, le tout sera un ouvrage martelé d’or pur.

 36 Their knops and their branches shall be of the same: all it shall be one beaten work of pure gold.

37 Et tu feras ses sept lampes ; et on allumera ses lampes, afin qu’elles puissent donner de la lumière face à lui

 37 And thou shalt make the seven lamps thereof: and they shall light the lamps thereof, that they may give light over against it.

38 Et ses mouchettes et ses porte-mouchettes seront d’or pur.

 38 And the tongs thereof, and the snuffdishes thereof, shall be of pure gold.

39 Avec un talent d’or pur, il sera fait, ainsi que tous ces ustensiles.

 39 Of a talent of pure gold shall he make it, with all these vessels.

40 Et veille à ce que tu les fasses d’après leur modèle qui t’a été montré sur le mont.

 40 And look that thou make them after their pattern, which was shewed thee in the mount.
