1 Et toi, fils d’homme, prends un carreau d'argile, et mets-le devant toi et trace dessus la ville, à savoir Jérusalem :

1 Thou also, son of man, take thee a tile, and lay it before thee, and pourtray upon it the city, even Jerusalem:
|
2 Et mets le siège contre elle, et bâtis un fort contre elle, et élève un monticule contre elle, place aussi des camps contre elle, et place des béliers tout autour.
|
2 And lay siege against it, and build a fort against it, and cast a mount against it; set the camp also against it, and set battering rams against it round about.
|
3 De plus prends-toi une plaque de fer, et place-la comme un mur de fer entre toi et la ville ; et dresse ta face contre elle, et elle sera assiégée, et tu l'assiégeras. Ce sera un signe pour la maison d'Israël.
|
3 Moreover take thou unto thee an iron pan, and set it for a wall of iron between thee and the city: and set thy face against it, and it shall be besieged, and thou shalt lay siege against it. This shall be a sign to the house of Israel.
|
4 Et couche-toi aussi sur ton côté gauche, et mets sur lui l'iniquité de la maison d'Israël ; selon le nombre des jours que tu coucheras sur ce côté, tu porteras leur iniquité.
|
4 Lie thou also upon thy left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel upon it: according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon it thou shalt bear their iniquity.
|
5 Car j'ai posé sur toi les années de leur iniquité, selon le nombre des jours, trois cent quatre-vingt-dix jours ; ainsi tu porteras l'iniquité de la maison d'Israël.
|
5 For I have laid upon thee the years of their iniquity, according to the number of the days, three hundred and ninety days: so shalt thou bear the iniquity of the house of Israel.
|
6 Et quand tu les auras accomplis, tu te coucheras une seconde fois sur ton côté droit, et tu porteras l'iniquité de la maison de Judah (Juda) quarante jours, je t'ai assigné un jour pour chaque année.
|
6 And when thou hast accomplished them, lie again on thy right side, and thou shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days: I have appointed thee each day for a year.
|
7 Par conséquent tu dresseras ta face vers le siège de Jérusalem, et ton bras sera découvert, et tu prophétiseras contre elle.
|
7 Therefore thou shalt set thy face toward the siege of Jerusalem, and thine arm shall be uncovered, and thou shalt prophesy against it.
|
8 Or, voici, je mettrai des liens sur toi, et tu ne te tourneras pas d'un côté à l'autre, jusqu'à ce que tu aies terminé les jours de ton siège.
|
8 And, behold, I will lay bands upon thee, and thou shalt not turn thee from one side to another, till thou hast ended the days of thy siege.
|
9 ¶ Prends-toi aussi du blé, et de l'orge, des haricots, des lentilles, du millet et des pois chiches, et mets-les dans un récipient, et fais-en du pain selon le nombre de jours que tu seras couché sur ton côté ; tu en mangeras pendant trois cent quatre-vingt-dix jours.

9 ¶ Take thou also unto thee wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentiles, and millet, and fitches, and put them in one vessel, and make thee bread thereof, according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon thy side, three hundred and ninety days shalt thou eat thereof.
|
10 Et ta nourriture que tu mangeras sera du poids de vingt shekels par jour ; tu en mangeras de temps en temps.
|
10 And thy meat which thou shalt eat shall be by weight, twenty shekels a day: from time to time shalt thou eat it.
|
11 Et tu boiras aussi l'eau par mesure, la sixième partie d'un hin ; tu en boiras de temps en temps.
|
11 Thou shalt drink also water by measure, the sixth part of an hin: from time to time shalt thou drink.
|
12 Et tu mangeras cela comme des gâteaux d'orge, et tu le cuiras sous leurs yeux avec des excréments sortis de l'homme.
|
12 And thou shalt eat it as barley cakes, and thou shalt bake it with dung that cometh out of man, in their sight.
|
13 Et le SEIGNEUR dit: Ainsi mangeront les enfants d'Israël leur pain souillé parmi les Gentils, là où je les chasserai.
|
13 And the LORD said, Even thus shall the children of Israel eat their defiled bread among the Gentiles, whither I will drive them.
|
14 Alors je dis: Ah, Seigneur DIEU ! Voici, mon âme n'a pas été profanée : et depuis ma jeunesse jusqu'à maintenant, je n'ai pas mangé de ce qui est mort de soi-même, ou déchiré en morceaux ; ni aucune abominable chair n'est entrée dans ma bouche.

14 Then said I, Ah Lord GOD! behold, my soul hath not been polluted: for from my youth up even till now have I not eaten of that which dieth of itself, or is torn in pieces; neither came there abominable flesh into my mouth.
|
15 Et il me dit : Voici, je t'ai donné les excréments des bœufs au lieu d'excréments de l'homme, et tu prépareras ton pain avec cela.
|
15 Then he said unto me, Lo, I have given thee cow’s dung for man’s dung, and thou shalt prepare thy bread therewith.
|
16 De plus il me dit, Fils d’homme, voici, je vais rompre le soutien du pain dans Jérusalem : et ils mangeront leur pain au poids et avec soin ; et ils boiront l'eau par mesure et avec étonnement:
|
16 Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, behold, I will break the staff of bread in Jerusalem: and they shall eat bread by weight, and with care; and they shall drink water by measure, and with astonishment:
|
17 D'autant que le pain et l'eau peuvent leur manquer, ils seront étonnés les uns avec les autres, et ils se désagrégeront à cause de leur iniquité.
|
17 That they may want bread and water, and be astonied one with another, and consume away for their iniquity.
