1 Et toi, Fils de l’homme, prophétise contre Gog, et dis : Ainsi dit le Seigneur DIEU : Voici, j'en veux à toi, ô Gog, le prince chef, de Meshech et de Tubal.

 1 Therefore, thou son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:

2 Et je te ferai retourner, et ne te laisserai qu'une sixième partie, et je te ferai monter du fond du Nord, et je t'amènerai sur les montagnes d'Israël.

 2 And I will turn thee back, and leave but the sixth part of thee, and will cause thee to come up from the north parts, and will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel:

3 Et j'abattrai ton arc de ta main gauche, et ferai tomber tes flèches de ta main droite.

 3 And I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand.

4 Tu tomberas sur les montagnes d'Israël, toi et toutes tes bandes, et les peuples qui s'ont avec toi je te donnerai aux oiseaux de proie de toute sorte, et aux bêtes des champs, pour être dévoré.

 4 Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands, and the people that is with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and to the beasts of the field to be devoured.

5 Tu tomberas en plein champ ; car j'ai parlé, dit le Seigneur DIEU.

 5 Thou shalt fall upon the open field: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.

6 Et j'enverrai un feu dans Magog, et parmi ceux qui demeurent insouciants dans les îles, et ils sauront que je suis le SEIGNEUR.

 6 And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I am the LORD.

7 Ainsi je ferai connaître mon saint nom au milieu de mon peuple Israël, et je ne les laisserai plus profaner mon saint nom, et les païens sauront que je suis le SEIGNEUR, le Seul Saint en Israël.

 7 So will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not let them pollute my holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel.

8 ¶ Voici, cela est arrivé, et c'est fait, dit le Seigneur DIEU ; c'est le jour dont j'ai parlé.

 8 ¶ Behold, it is come, and it is done, saith the Lord GOD; this is the day whereof I have spoken.

9 Et ceux qui demeurent dans les villes d'Israël sortiront, et mettront le feu et brûleront les armes, les écus et les boucliers, les arcs et les flèches, et les javelots, et les lances, et ils les brûleront pendant sept ans.

 9 And they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the handstaves, and the spears, and they shall burn them with fire seven years:

10 Si bien qu'ils n'auront pas apporter de bois des champs, ni à en couper dans les forêts, car ils brûleront au feu les armes ; et ils dépouilleront ceux qui les avaient dépouillés, et pilleront ceux qui les avaient pillés, dit le Seigneur DIEU.

 10 So that they shall take no wood out of the field, neither cut down any out of the forests; for they shall burn the weapons with fire: and they shall spoil those that spoiled them, and rob those that robbed them, saith the Lord GOD.

11 ¶ Et il arrivera en ce jour-là, que je donnerai à Gog un lieu pour sépulture en Israël, la vallée des passants, à l’Est de la mer ; et elle bouchera les narines des passants là donc on enterrera Gog et toute sa multitude ; et on l'appellera, la vallée d'Hamongog.

 11 ¶ And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will give unto Gog a place there of graves in Israel, the valley of the passengers on the east of the sea: and it shall stop the noses of the passengers: and there shall they bury Gog and all his multitude: and they shall call it The valley of Hamongog.

12 Et il faudra sept mois à la maison d'Israël pour les enterrer, afin qu'ils puissent purifier le pays ;

 12 And seven months shall the house of Israel be burying of them, that they may cleanse the land.

13 Oui, tout le peuple du pays les enterrera, et cela leur sera un renom, au jour où je serai glorifier, dit le Seigneur DIEU.

 13 Yea, all the people of the land shall bury them; and it shall be to them a renown the day that I shall be glorified, saith the Lord GOD.

14 Et ils mettront à part des hommes, qui parcourront le pays continuellement, qui enterreront avec les passants, ceux qui seront restés à la surface de la terre, afin de la purifier, et jusqu'au bout de sept mois ils en chercheront.

 14 And they shall sever out men of continual employment, passing through the land to bury with the passengers those that remain upon the face of the earth, to cleanse it: after the end of seven months shall they search.

15 Et les passants qui traverseront le pays, quand l'un d'eux verra les ossements d'un homme, il dressera alors près de lui un signal, jusqu'à ce que les fossoyeurs l'aient enterré dans la vallée d'Hamongog.

 15 And the passengers that pass through the land, when any seeth a man’s bone, then shall he set up a sign by it, till the buriers have buried it in the valley of Hamongog.

16 Et aussi le nom de la ville sera Hamonah, et on purifiera le pays.

 16 And also the name of the city shall be Hamonah. Thus shall they cleanse the land.

17 ¶ Et toi, Fils de l’homme, Ainsi dit le Seigneur DIEU : Dis aux oiseaux de toute espèce, et à toutes les bêtes des champs : Assemblez-vous et venez, réunissez-vous de toute part vers mon sacrifice que je sacrifie pour vous, à savoir un grand sacrifice sur les montagnes d'Israël, afin que vous mangiez de la chair, et buviez du sang.

 17 ¶ And, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; Speak unto every feathered fowl, and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, even a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood.

18 Vous mangerez la chair des puissants, et boirez le sang des princes de la terre ; des béliers, des agneaux, des chèvres, des taureaux, tous des bêtes engraissées de Bashan.

 18 Ye shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bullocks, all of them fatlings of Bashan.

19 Et vous mangerez de la graisse jusqu'à en être rassasiés, et vous boirez du sang jusqu'à en être ivres, de mon sacrifice que j'aurai sacrifié pour vous.

 19 And ye shall eat fat till ye be full, and drink blood till ye be drunken, of my sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you.

20 Ainsi vous serez rassasiés à ma table, de chevaux, de chariots, d'hommes puissants et de tous les hommes de guerre, dit le Seigneur DIEU.

 20 Thus ye shall be filled at my table with horses and chariots, with mighty men, and with all men of war, saith the Lord GOD.

21 Et je mettrai ma gloire parmi les païens, et tous les païens verront mon jugement que j'aurai exécuté, ainsi que ma main que j'aurai mise sur eux.

 21 And I will set my glory among the heathen, and all the heathen shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them.

22 Et la maison d'Israël saura que je suis le SEIGNEUR, leur Dieu, dès ce jour et dorénavant.

 22 So the house of Israel shall know that I am the LORD their God from that day and forward.

23 ¶ Et les païens sauront que la maison d'Israël est allée en captivité à cause de son iniquité, parce qu'ils ont transgressé contre moi, c'est pourquoi je leur avais caché ma face, et les avais livrés en la main de leurs ennemis ; tellement qu'ils étaient tous tombés par l'épée.

 23 ¶ And the heathen shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity: because they trespassed against me, therefore hid I my face from them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies: so fell they all by the sword.

24 Et je leur ai fait selon leur souillure et selon leur transgression, et je leur ai caché ma face.

 24 According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions have I done unto them, and hid my face from them.

25 C’est pourquoi, ainsi dit le Seigneur DIEU : Maintenant je ramènerai les captifs de Jacob, et j'aurai pitié de toute la maison d'Israël, et je serai jaloux de mon saint nom.

 25 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy name;

26 Après qu'ils auront porté leur honte, et toutes leurs fautes par lesquelles ils ont transgressé contre moi, lorsqu'ils demeuraient en sécurité dans leur terre, sans que personne ne les effraye.

 26 After that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made them afraid.

27 Lorsque je les aurai ramenés d'entre les peuples, et que je les aurai rassemblés des pays de leurs ennemis, je serai sanctifié en eux à la vue de beaucoup de nations.

 27 When I have brought them again from the people, and gathered them out of their enemies’ lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations;

28 Alors ils sauront que je suis le SEIGNEUR leur Dieu, lequel leur à causer d'être emmenés captifs parmi les païens ; mais je les aurai rassemblés dans leur terre, et sans en y laissant aucun.

 28 Then shall they know that I am the LORD their God, which caused them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but I have gathered them unto their own land, and have left none of them any more there.

29 Et je ne leur cacherai plus ma face, car j'aurai répandu mon esprit sur la maison d'Israël, dit le Seigneur DIEU.

 29 Neither will I hide my face any more from them: for I have poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.
