1 En la vingt-cinquième année de notre captivité, au commencement de l'année, au dixième jour du mois, en la quatorzième année après que la ville ait été frappée, en ce même jour, la main du SEIGNEUR fut sur moi, et il m'amena là.

 1 In the five and twentieth year of our captivity, in the beginning of the year, in the tenth day of the month, in the fourteenth year after that the city was smitten, in the selfsame day the hand of the LORD was upon me, and brought me thither.

2 Dans les visions de Dieu, il m'emmena au pays d'Israël, et me plaça sur une très haute montagne, près de laquelle, du côté du Sud, se trouvait comme la silhouette d'une ville.

 2 In the visions of God brought he me into the land of Israel, and set me upon a very high mountain, by which was as the frame of a city on the south.

3 Et il m'amena là, et voici, il y avait un homme dont l'aspect était comme l'aspect de cuivre, avec en sa main un cordeau de lin et une canne à mesurer, et il se tenait debout à la porte.

 3 And he brought me thither, and, behold, there was a man, whose appearance was like the appearance of brass, with a line of flax in his hand, and a measuring reed; and he stood in the gate.

4 Cet homme me dit : Fils de l’homme, contemple de tes yeux, et entends de tes oreilles, et applique ton cœur à tout ce que je vais te montrer car c'est afin que je puisse te les montrer que tu as été amené ici ; déclare tout ce que tu vois à la maison d'Israël.

 4 And the man said unto me, Son of man, behold with thine eyes, and hear with thine ears, and set thine heart upon all that I shall shew thee; for to the intent that I might shew them unto thee art thou brought hither: declare all that thou seest to the house of Israel.

5 Et voici, un mur environnant à l'extérieur de la maison, et dans la main de l'homme, une canne à mesurer de six coudées, longue d'une coudée et de la largeur d'une paume ; il mesura la largeur de la construction, une canne, et la hauteur, une canne.

 5 And behold a wall on the outside of the house round about, and in the man’s hand a measuring reed of six cubits long by the cubit and an hand breadth: so he measured the breadth of the building, one reed; and the height, one reed.

6 ¶ Puis il alla vers la porte qui regardait vers l’Est, et en monta les marches, et il mesura le seuil de la porte, qui était une canne en largeur ; et l'autre seuil de la porte qui était une canne en largeur.

 6 ¶ Then came he unto the gate which looketh toward the east, and went up the stairs thereof, and measured the threshold of the gate, which was one reed broad; and the other threshold of the gate, which was one reed broad.

7 Et chaque chambrette était longue d'une canne, et large d'une canne ; et l'espace entre les chambrettes était de cinq coudées ; et le seuil de la porte, près du porche de la porte intérieure était d'une canne.

 7 And every little chamber was one reed long, and one reed broad; and between the little chambers were five cubits; and the threshold of the gate by the porch of the gate within was one reed.

8 Il mesura aussi le porche de la porte intérieure une canne ;

 8 He measured also the porch of the gate within, one reed.

9 Ensuite il mesura le porche de la porte, huit coudées, et ses piliers deux coudées ; et le porche de la porte était vers l'intérieur.

 9 Then measured he the porch of the gate, eight cubits; and the posts thereof, two cubits; and the porch of the gate was inward.

10 Or les chambrettes de la porte étaient trois d'un côté, et trois de l'autre côté, toutes trois étaient d'une même mesure, et les piliers d'un côté et de l'autre avaient une même mesure.

 10 And the little chambers of the gate eastward were three on this side, and three on that side; they three were of one measure: and the posts had one measure on this side and on that side.

11 Et il mesura la largeur de l'ouverture de la porte, dix coudées, et la longueur de la porte, treize coudées.

 11 And he measured the breadth of the entry of the gate, ten cubits; and the length of the gate, thirteen cubits.

12 L'espace devant les chambrettes était une coudée, d'un côté et l'espace était d'une coudée de l'autre ; et les chambrettes étaient de six coudées d'un côté, et six de l'autre côté.

 12 The space also before the little chambers was one cubit on this side, and the space was one cubit on that side: and the little chambers were six cubits on this side, and six cubits on that side.

13 Puis il mesura la porte, depuis le toit d'une chambrette jusqu'au toit de l'autre, la largeur était de vingt-cinq coudées, d'une porte à l'autre porte.

 13 He measured then the gate from the roof of one little chamber to the roof of another: the breadth was five and twenty cubits, door against door.

14 Il fit aussi des piliers de soixante coudées, même jusqu'au poteau de la cour tout autour de la porte.

 14 He made also posts of threescore cubits, even unto the post of the court round about the gate.

15 Et depuis la façade de la porte d'entrée jusqu'à la façade du porche de la porte intérieure, il y avait cinquante coudées.

 15 And from the face of the gate of the entrance unto the face of the porch of the inner gate were fifty cubits.

16 Or il y avait d'étroites fenêtres aux chambrettes et à leurs piliers, à l'intérieur de la porte, tout autour, de même aux arcades ; et les fenêtres étaient tout autour, à l'intérieur ; et sur chaque poteau étaient sculptés des palmiers.

 16 And there were narrow windows to the little chambers, and to their posts within the gate round about, and likewise to the arches: and windows were round about inward: and upon each post were palm trees.

17 Puis il me mena dans la cour extérieure, et voici, il y avait des chambres, et un pavement recouvrant la cour tout autour ; il y avait trente chambres sur ce pavement.

 17 Then brought he me into the outward court, and, lo, there were chambers, and a pavement made for the court round about: thirty chambers were upon the pavement.

18 Et le pavement, du côté des portes, vis-à-vis des portes était le pavement inférieur.

 18 And the pavement by the side of the gates over against the length of the gates was the lower pavement.

19 Puis il mesura la largeur depuis le devant de la porte inférieure, jusque devant la cour intérieure, au-dehors, cent coudées vers l’Est et vers le Nord.

 19 Then he measured the breadth from the forefront of the lower gate unto the forefront of the inner court without, an hundred cubits eastward and northward.

20 ¶ Il mesura la longueur et la largeur de la porte de la cour extérieure qui regarde vers le Nord.

 20 ¶ And the gate of the outward court that looked toward the north, he measured the length thereof, and the breadth thereof.

21 Et quant à ses chambrettes, trois de ce côté et trois de l'autre côté, et ses piliers, et ses arcades, étaient de la même mesure que la première porte sa longueur était de cinquante coudées, et en largeur vingt-cinq.

 21 And the little chambers thereof were three on this side and three on that side; and the posts thereof and the arches thereof were after the measure of the first gate: the length thereof was fifty cubits, and the breadth five and twenty cubits.

22 Et ses fenêtres, et ses arcades et ses palmiers, étaient selon la mesure de la porte qui regarde vers l’Est ; et on y montait par sept marches, et ses arcades étaient devant eux.

 22 And their windows, and their arches, and their palm trees, were after the measure of the gate that looketh toward the east; and they went up unto it by seven steps; and the arches thereof were before them.

23 Et la porte de la cour intérieure était vis à vis de la porte du côté nord et du côté est, et il mesura de porte à porte, cent coudées.

 23 And the gate of the inner court was over against the gate toward the north, and toward the east; and he measured from gate to gate an hundred cubits.

24 ¶ Après cela il me mena vers le Sud, et voici, une porte vers le Sud ; et il en mesura ses piliers et ses arcades suivant ces mesures.

 24 ¶ After that he brought me toward the south, and behold a gate toward the south: and he measured the posts thereof and the arches thereof according to these measures.

25 Et il y avait des fenêtres dans cette porte et dans ses arcades tout autour, comme ces fenêtres-là ; la longueur était de cinquante coudées, et la largeur de vingt-cinq coudées.

 25 And there were windows in it and in the arches thereof round about, like those windows: the length was fifty cubits, and the breadth five and twenty cubits.

26 Il y avait sept marches pour y monter, et devant lesquelles étaient ses arcades ; et la porte avait des palmiers, un d'un côté, et un de l'autre côté, sur ses piliers.

 26 And there were seven steps to go up to it, and the arches thereof were before them: and it had palm trees, one on this side, and another on that side, upon the posts thereof.

27 ¶ Et il y avait une porte dans la cour intérieure vers le Sud, et il mesura de porte à porte, vers le Sud, cent coudées.

 27 And there was a gate in the inner court toward the south: and he measured from gate to gate toward the south an hundred cubits.

28 Et il me mena dans la cour intérieure par la porte du Sud ; et il mesura la porte du Sud selon ces mesures-là.

 28 And he brought me to the inner court by the south gate: and he measured the south gate according to these measures;

29 Et ses chambrettes, et ses piliers et ses arcades selon ces mesures-là ; et il y avait des fenêtres tout autour dans la porte et dans ses arcades ; la longueur en était de cinquante coudées, et la largeur de vingt-cinq coudées.

 29 And the little chambers thereof, and the posts thereof, and the arches thereof, according to these measures: and there were windows in it and in the arches thereof round about: it was fifty cubits long, and five and twenty cubits broad.

30 Et les arcades tout autour étaient de vingt-cinq coudées de long, et de cinq coudées de large.

 30 And the arches round about were five and twenty cubits long, and five cubits broad.

31 Et ses arcades étaient vers la cour extérieure ; et les palmiers étaient sur ses piliers, et son escalier avait huit marches.

 31 And the arches thereof were toward the utter court; and palm trees were upon the posts thereof: and the going up to it had eight steps.

32 ¶ Et il me mena dans la cour intérieure du côté de l’Est ; et il mesura la porte selon ces mesures-là.

 32 ¶ And he brought me into the inner court toward the east: and he measured the gate according to these measures.

33 Et ses chambrettes, et ses piliers et ses arcades étaient selon ces mesures-là, et il y avait des fenêtres dans la porte et dans ses arcades tout autour ; cinquante coudées de long, et vingt-cinq coudées de large.

 33 And the little chambers thereof, and the posts thereof, and the arches thereof, were according to these measures: and there were windows therein and in the arches thereof round about: it was fifty cubits long, and five and twenty cubits broad.

34 Et ses arcades étaient vers la cour extérieure ; et des palmiers étaient sur ses piliers, d'un côté et de l'autre côté, et son escalier avait huit marches.

 34 And the arches thereof were toward the outward court; and palm trees were upon the posts thereof, on this side, and on that side: and the going up to it had eight steps.

35 ¶ Et il me mena vers la porte du Nord, et la mesura selon ces mesures-là,

 35 ¶ And he brought me to the north gate, and measured it according to these measures;

36 Ses chambrettes, ses piliers et ses arcades, et ses fenêtres tout autour ; la longueur en était de cinquante coudées, et la largeur de vingt-cinq coudées ;

 36 The little chambers thereof, the posts thereof, and the arches thereof, and the windows to it round about: the length was fifty cubits, and the breadth five and twenty cubits.

37 Et ses piliers étaient vers la cour extérieure ; et des palmiers étaient sur ses piliers, d'un côté, et de l'autre côté ; et son escalier avait huit marches.

 37 And the posts thereof were toward the utter court; and palm trees were upon the posts thereof, on this side, and on that side: and the going up to it had eight steps.

38 Et des chambrettes et leurs entrées étaient près des piliers des portes ; où on lavait les offrandes consumées.

 38 And the chambers and the entries thereof were by the posts of the gates, where they washed the burnt offering.

39 ¶ Et dans le porche de la porte se trouvaient deux tables de ce côté, et deux tables de l'autre côté, pour y égorger l'offrande consumée et l'offrande pour le péché, et l'offrande de transgression.

 39 ¶ And in the porch of the gate were two tables on this side, and two tables on that side, to slay thereon the burnt offering and the sin offering and the trespass offering.

40 Et vers le côté extérieur, là où on monte, à l'entrée de la porte du Nord, étaient deux tables ; et à l'autre côté qui était vers le porche de la porte, étaient deux tables.

 40 And at the side without, as one goeth up to the entry of the north gate, were two tables; and on the other side, which was at the porch of the gate, were two tables.

41 Quatre tables étaient d'un côté, et quatre tables de l'autre côté, près de la porte ; huit tables, sur lesquelles on égorgeait leurs sacrifices.

 41 Four tables were on this side, and four tables on that side, by the side of the gate; eight tables, whereupon they slew their sacrifices.

42 Or les quatre tables étaient pour l'offrande consumée, étaient en pierre de taille, d'une coudée et demie de longueur, d'une coudée et demie de largeur, et hautes d'une coudée ; on y déposait les instruments avec lesquels on égorgeait l'offrande consumée et le sacrifice.

 42 And the four tables were of hewn stone for the burnt offering, of a cubit and an half long, and a cubit and an half broad, and one cubit high: whereupon also they laid the instruments wherewith they slew the burnt offering and the sacrifice.

43 Et à l'intérieur de la maison, il y avait des crochets, larges d'une paume, fixés tout autour ; et sur les tables on mettait la chair de l'offrande.

 43 And within were hooks, an hand broad, fastened round about: and upon the tables was the flesh of the offering.

44 ¶ Et au dehors de la porte intérieure étaient les chambres pour les chanteurs, dans la cour intérieure, qui était à côté de la porte nord, et ayant leur perspective vers le Sud ; l'autre à côté de la porte est ayant perspective vers le Nord.

 44 ¶ And without the inner gate were the chambers of the singers in the inner court, which was at the side of the north gate; and their prospect was toward the south: one at the side of the east gate having the prospect toward the north.

45 Puis il me dit : Cette chambre dont la perspective est vers le Sud, est pour les prêtres qui ont la charge de la maison ;

 45 And he said unto me, This chamber, whose prospect is toward the south, is for the priests, the keepers of the charge of the house.

46 Et la chambre dont la perspective est vers le Nord, est pour les prêtres qui ont la charge de l'autel ; ce sont les fils de Zadok, qui, parmi les fils de Levi (Lévi), s'approchent du SEIGNEUR pour faire son service.

 46 And the chamber whose prospect is toward the north is for the priests, the keepers of the charge of the altar: these are the sons of Zadok among the sons of Levi, which come near to the LORD to minister unto him.

47 Puis il mesura la cour, longue de cent coudées, et large de cent coudées, un carré ; et l'autel était devant la maison.

 47 So he measured the court, an hundred cubits long, and an hundred cubits broad, foursquare; and the altar that was before the house.

48 ¶ Ensuite il me mena au porche de la maison, et mesura chaque poteau du porche, cinq coudées de ce côté, et de cinq coudées de l'autre côté ; et la largeur de la porte était de trois coudées de ce côté et de trois coudées de l'autre côté.

 48 ¶ And he brought me to the porch of the house, and measured each post of the porch, five cubits on this side, and five cubits on that side: and the breadth of the gate was three cubits on this side, and three cubits on that side.

49 La longueur du porche était de vingt coudées, et la largeur de onze coudées ; et il me mena près des marches par lesquelles on montait, et il y avait des colonnes près des piliers, l'une d'un côté, et une autre de l'autre côté.

 49 The length of the porch was twenty cubits, and the breadth eleven cubits; and he brought me by the steps whereby they went up to it: and there were pillars by the posts, one on this side, and another on that side.
