1 Et le SEIGNEUR parla à Moïse, disant :
|
1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
|
2 Parle aux enfants d’Israël, disant : Si une femme après avoir conçu semence et enfanté un enfant mâle, elle sera alors souillée sept jours ; comme aux jours de la séparation de son indisposition, elle sera souillée.
|
2 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a woman have conceived seed, and born a man child: then she shall be unclean seven days; according to the days of the separation for her infirmity shall she be unclean.

3 Et le huitième jour, la chair du prépuce de celui-ci sera circoncis.
|
3 And in the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised.
|
4 Et elle demeurera alors dans le sang de sa purification trente-trois jours ; elle ne touchera aucune chose sanctifié et n’ira pas au sanctuaire, jusqu’à ce que les jours de sa purification soient accomplis.
|
4 And she shall then continue in the blood of her purifying three and thirty days; she shall touch no hallowed thing, nor come into the sanctuary, until the days of her purifying be fulfilled.
|
5 Mais si elle enfante une fille, elle sera alors souillée deux semaines, comme dans sa séparation et elle demeurera dans le sang de sa purification soixante-six jours.
|
5 But if she bear a maid child, then she shall be unclean two weeks, as in her separation: and she shall continue in the blood of her purifying threescore and six days.
|
6 Et quand les jours de sa purification seront accomplis, pour un fils ou pour une fille, elle amènera au prêtre un agneau d’un an pour une offrande consumée, et un jeune pigeon ou une tourterelle, pour une offrande du péché, à la porte du tabernacle de la congrégation.

6 And when the days of her purifying are fulfilled, for a son, or for a daughter, she shall bring a lamb of the first year for a burnt offering, and a young pigeon, or a turtledove, for a sin offering, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, unto the priest:
|
7 Qui l’offrira devant le SEIGNEUR, fera une expiation pour elle et elle sera purifiée de la perte de son sang. Telle est la loi de celle qui enfante un mâle ou une femelle.

7 Who shall offer it before the LORD, and make an atonement for her; and she shall be cleansed from the issue of her blood. This is the law for her that hath born a male or a female.
|
8 Et s’il ne lui est pas possible d’amener un agneau, alors elle amènera deux tourterelles ou deux jeunes pigeons, l’un pour l’offrande consumée et l’autre pour l’offrande du péché ; et le prêtre fera l’expiation pour elle, et elle sera nette.
|
8 And if she be not able to bring a lamb, then she shall bring two turtles, or two young pigeons; the one for the burnt offering, and the other for a sin offering: and the priest shall make an atonement for her, and she shall be clean.
