1 Et le SEIGNEUR parla à Moïse, disant :

 1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

2 Cela sera la loi du lépreux au jour de sa purification : il sera amené au prêtre.

 2 This shall be the law of the leper in the day of his cleansing: He shall be brought unto the priest:

3 Et le prêtre sortira du camp et le prêtre le regardera, et voici, si la plaie de la lèpre est guérie chez le lépreux,

 3 And the priest shall go forth out of the camp; and the priest shall look, and, behold, if the plague of leprosy be healed in the leper;

4 Alors le prêtre commandera de prendre pour celui qui doit être nettoyé, deux oiseaux vivants et nets, et du bois de cèdre, et de l’écarlate et de l’hysope.

 4 Then shall the priest command to take for him that is to be cleansed two birds alive and clean, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop:

5 Et le prêtre commandera que l’un des oiseaux soit tué dans un récipient de terre, sur de l’eau courante.

 5 And the priest shall command that one of the birds be killed in an earthen vessel over running water:

6 Quant à l’oiseau vivant, il le prendra, ainsi que le bois de cèdre, l’écarlate et l’hysope et il les trempera ainsi que l’oiseau vivant, dans le sang de l’oiseau qui a été tué sur l’eau courante ;

 6 As for the living bird, he shall take it, and the cedar wood, and the scarlet, and the hyssop, and shall dip them and the living bird in the blood of the bird that was killed over the running water:

7 Et il en aspergera sept fois sur celui qui doit être nettoyé de la lèpre et il le prononcera net et il lâchera l’oiseau vivant dans les champs.

 7 And he shall sprinkle upon him that is to be cleansed from the leprosy seven times, and shall pronounce him clean, and shall let the living bird loose into the open field.

8 Et celui qui doit être nettoyé lavera ses vêtements, rasera tout son poil et se lavera dans l’eau afin qu’il puisse être net, et après cela, il entrera dans le camp et il restera hors de sa tente sept jours.

 8 And he that is to be cleansed shall wash his clothes, and shave off all his hair, and wash himself in water, that he may be clean: and after that he shall come into the camp, and shall tarry abroad out of his tent seven days.

9 Mais il arrivera au septième jour, qu’il rasera tout ses cheveux sur sa tête, ainsi que sa barbe et ses sourcils, il rasera dis-je tout son poil ; et il lavera ses vêtements, il lavera aussi sa chair dans l’eau et il sera net.

 9 But it shall be on the seventh day, that he shall shave all his hair off his head and his beard and his eyebrows, even all his hair he shall shave off: and he shall wash his clothes, also he shall wash his flesh in water, and he shall be clean.

10 Et au huitième jour, il prendra deux agneaux sans défaut et une brebis d’un an sans défaut, trois dixièmes de fine farine pour une offrande de farine, mélangée avec l’huile et un log d’huile ;

 10 And on the eighth day he shall take two he lambs without blemish, and one ewe lamb of the first year without blemish, and three tenth deals of fine flour for a meat offering, mingled with oil, and one log of oil.

11 Et le prêtre qui le déclare net, présentera l’homme qui doit être nettoyé ainsi que ces choses, devant le SEIGNEUR, à la porte du tabernacle de la congrégation.

 11 And the priest that maketh him clean shall present the man that is to be made clean, and those things, before the LORD, at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation:

12 Et le prêtre prendra un agneau et l’offrira pour une offrande de transgression, ainsi que le log d’huile, et il les tournoiera en une offrande tournoyée devant le SEIGNEUR.

 12 And the priest shall take one he lamb, and offer him for a trespass offering, and the log of oil, and wave them for a wave offering before the LORD:

13 Et il tuera l’agneau au lieu où l’on tue l’offrande du péché et l’offrande consumée, dans le saint lieu : car comme l’offrande du péché est pour le prêtre, ainsi est l’offrande de transgression : c’est une chose très sainte.

 13 And he shall slay the lamb in the place where he shall kill the sin offering and the burnt offering, in the holy place: for as the sin offering is the priest’s, so is the trespass offering: it is most holy:

14 Et le prêtre prendra un peu de sang de l’offrande de transgression et le prêtre le mettra sur le bout de l’oreille droite de celui qui doit être nettoyé, sur le pouce de sa main droite et sur le gros orteil de son pied droit.

 14 And the priest shall take some of the blood of the trespass offering, and the priest shall put it upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot:

15 Et le prêtre prendra un peu d’huile du log et la versera dans la paume de sa propre main gauche ;

 15 And the priest shall take some of the log of oil, and pour it into the palm of his own left hand:

16 Et le prêtre trempera son doigt droit dans l’huile qui est dans sa main gauche et aspergera de l’huile avec son doigt sept fois devant le SEIGNEUR.

 16 And the priest shall dip his right finger in the oil that is in his left hand, and shall sprinkle of the oil with his finger seven times before the LORD:

17 Et du reste de l’huile qui est dans sa main, le prêtre en mettra sur le bout de l’oreille droite de celui qui doit être nettoyé, sur le pouce de sa main droite et sur le gros orteil de son pied droit, dessus le sang de l’offrande de transgression.

 17 And of the rest of the oil that is in his hand shall the priest put upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot, upon the blood of the trespass offering:

18 Et le reste de l’huile qui est dans la main du prêtre, il le versera sur la tête de celui qui doit être nettoyé ; et le prêtre fera une expiation pour lui devant le SEIGNEUR.

 18 And the remnant of the oil that is in the priest’s hand he shall pour upon the head of him that is to be cleansed: and the priest shall make an atonement for him before the LORD.

19 Et le prêtre offrira l’offrande du péché et fera une expiation pour celui qui doit être nettoyé de sa souillure ; et après il tuera l’offrande consumée.

 19 And the priest shall offer the sin offering, and make an atonement for him that is to be cleansed from his uncleanness; and afterward he shall kill the burnt offering:

20 Et le prêtre offrira l’offrande consumée et l’offrande de farine sur l’autel ; et le prêtre fera une expiation pour lui l’homme et il sera net.

 20 And the priest shall offer the burnt offering and the meat offering upon the altar: and the priest shall make an atonement for him, and he shall be clean.

21 Et s’il est pauvre et qu’il ne puisse fournir cela, il prendra alors un agneau pour une offrande pour la transgression, pour être tournoyée, afin de faire une expiation pour lui, et un dixième de fine farine mélangée avec l’huile pour une offrande de farine et un log d’huile,

 21 And if he be poor, and cannot get so much; then he shall take one lamb for a trespass offering to be waved, to make an atonement for him, and one tenth deal of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering, and a log of oil;

22 Et deux tourterelles ou deux jeunes pigeons, selon qu’il pourra fournir, et l’un sera pour une offrande du péché et l’autre pour une offrande consumée.

 22 And two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, such as he is able to get; and the one shall be a sin offering, and the other a burnt offering.

23 Et il les apportera au huitième jour au prêtre, pour sa purification, à la porte du tabernacle de la congrégation, devant le SEIGNEUR.

 23 And he shall bring them on the eighth day for his cleansing unto the priest, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, before the LORD.

24 Et le prêtre prendra l’agneau de l’offrande de transgression et le log d’huile ; et le prêtre les tournoiera pour une offrande tournoyée devant le SEIGNEUR.

 24 And the priest shall take the lamb of the trespass offering, and the log of oil, and the priest shall wave them for a wave offering before the LORD:

25 Et il tuera l’agneau de l’offrande de transgression ; et le prêtre prendra un peu de sang de l’offrande de transgression et le mettra sur le bout de l’oreille droite de celui qui doit être nettoyé, sur le pouce de sa main droite, et sur le gros orteil de son pied droit.

 25 And he shall kill the lamb of the trespass offering, and the priest shall take some of the blood of the trespass offering, and put it upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot:

26 Et le prêtre versera de l’huile dans la paume de sa propre main gauche.

 26 And the priest shall pour of the oil into the palm of his own left hand:

27 Et le prêtre aspergera avec son doigt droit, un peu d’huile qui est dans sa main gauche, sept fois devant le SEIGNEUR.

 27 And the priest shall sprinkle with his right finger some of the oil that is in his left hand seven times before the LORD:

28 Et le prêtre mettra de l’huile qui est dans sa main sur le bout de l’oreille droite de celui qui doit être nettoyé, et sur le pouce de sa main droite et sur le gros orteil de son pied droit, sur l’endroit du sang pris de l’offrande de transgression.

 28 And the priest shall put of the oil that is in his hand upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot, upon the place of the blood of the trespass offering:

29 Et le reste de l’huile qui est dans la main du prêtre, il le mettra sur la tête de celui qui doit être nettoyé, pour faire une expiation pour lui, devant le SEIGNEUR.

 29 And the rest of the oil that is in the priest’s hand he shall put upon the head of him that is to be cleansed, to make an atonement for him before the LORD.

30 Et il offrira l’une des tourterelles ou l’un des jeunes pigeons, selon ce qu’il aura pu fournir,

 30 And he shall offer the one of the turtledoves, or of the young pigeons, such as he can get;

31 C’est-à-dire de ce qu’il peut fournir, l’un pour une offrande du péché et l’autre pour une offrande consumée, avec l’offrande de farine ; et le prêtre fera une expiation pour celui qui doit être nettoyé devant le SEIGNEUR.

 31 Even such as he is able to get, the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, with the meat offering: and the priest shall make an atonement for him that is to be cleansed before the LORD.

32 C’est la loi de celui en qui est la plaie de lèpre, dont la main n’a pu fournir ce qui se rapporte à sa purification.

 32 This is the law of him in whom is the plague of leprosy, whose hand is not able to get that which pertaineth to his cleansing.

33 ¶ Et le SEIGNEUR parla à Moïse et à Aaron, disant :

 33 ¶ And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,

34 Quand vous serez entrés en la terre de Canaan, laquelle je vous donne pour possession, et si je mets une plaie de lèpre dans une maison de la terre de votre possession,

 34 When ye be come into the land of Canaan, which I give to you for a possession, and I put the plague of leprosy in a house of the land of your possession;

35 Et celui qui possède la maison viendra et le dira au prêtre, disant : Il me semble qu’il y a une plaie dans la maison.

 35 And he that owneth the house shall come and tell the priest, saying, It seemeth to me there is as it were a plague in the house:

36 Alors le prêtre commandera qu’on vide la maison, avant que le prêtre y entre pour voir la plaie, afin que tout ce qui est dans la maison ne soit pas devenu souillé ; et après cela, le prêtre entrera pour voir la maison.

 36 Then the priest shall command that they empty the house, before the priest go into it to see the plague, that all that is in the house be not made unclean: and afterward the priest shall go in to see the house:

37 Et il considérera la plaie ; et voici, si la plaie est dans les murs de la maison avec des creux verdâtres ou rougeâtres, lesquels à les voir sont plus enfoncés que le mur,

 37 And he shall look on the plague, and, behold, if the plague be in the walls of the house with hollow strakes, greenish or reddish, which in sight are lower than the wall;

38 Alors le prêtre sortira de la maison vers la porte de la maison, et fera fermer la maison sept jours.

 38 Then the priest shall go out of the house to the door of the house, and shut up the house seven days:

39 Et le prêtre reviendra au septième jour et regardera ; et voici, si la plaie s’est étendue dans les murs de la maison,

 39 And the priest shall come again the seventh day, and shall look: and, behold, if the plague be spread in the walls of the house;

40 Alors le prêtre commandera qu’on arrache les pierres dans lesquelles est la plaie et qu’on les jette, dans un lieu souillé, hors de la ville.

 40 Then the priest shall command that they take away the stones in which the plague is, and they shall cast them into an unclean place without the city:

41 Et il fera racler la maison à l’intérieur, tout autour, et ils verseront la poussière qu’ils auront raclée hors de la ville, dans un lieu souillé.

 41 And he shall cause the house to be scraped within round about, and they shall pour out the dust that they scrape off without the city into an unclean place:

42 Et ils prendront d’autres pierres et les mettront à la place de ces premières pierres et il prendra d’autre mortier et plâtrera la maison.

 42 And they shall take other stones, and put them in the place of those stones; and he shall take other morter, and shall plaister the house.

43 Et si la plaie revient et se déclare dans la maison après qu’il aura arraché les pierres, après qu’il aura raclé la maison et après qu’elle aura été plâtrée,

 43 And if the plague come again, and break out in the house, after that he hath taken away the stones, and after he hath scraped the house, and after it is plaistered;

44 Alors le prêtre reviendra et regardera, et voici, si la plaie s’est étendue dans la maison, c’est une lèpre rongeuse dans la maison ; elle est souillée.

 44 Then the priest shall come and look, and, behold, if the plague be spread in the house, it is a fretting leprosy in the house: it is unclean.

45 Et il démolira la maison, ses pierres, son bois et tout le mortier de la maison et il les transportera hors de la ville, dans un lieu souillé.

 45 And he shall break down the house, the stones of it, and the timber thereof, and all the morter of the house; and he shall carry them forth out of the city into an unclean place.

46 De plus celui qui est entré dans la maison pendant tout le temps qu’elle était fermée sera souillé jusqu’au soir.

 46 Moreover he that goeth into the house all the while that it is shut up shall be unclean until the even.

47 Et celui qui couche dans la maison lavera ses vêtements ; et celui qui mange dans la maison, lavera ses vêtements.

 47 And he that lieth in the house shall wash his clothes; and he that eateth in the house shall wash his clothes.

48 Et si le prêtre entre et l’examine, et voici, la plaie ne s’est pas étendue dans la maison, après que la maison a été plâtrée, alors le prêtre prononcera la maison nette ; parce que la plaie est guérie.

 48 And if the priest shall come in, and look upon it, and, behold, the plague hath not spread in the house, after the house was plaistered: then the priest shall pronounce the house clean, because the plague is healed.

49 Et il prendra, pour purifier la maison, deux oiseaux, du bois de cèdre, de l’écarlate et de l’hysope ;

 49 And he shall take to cleanse the house two birds, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop:

50 Et il tuera l’un des oiseaux sur un récipient de terre, sur de l’eau courante ;

 50 And he shall kill the one of the birds in an earthen vessel over running water:

51 Et il prendra le bois de cèdre, l’hysope, l’écarlate et l’oiseau vivant, et les trempera dans le sang de l’oiseau tué et dans l’eau courant, et il en aspergera la maison, sept fois.

 51 And he shall take the cedar wood, and the hyssop, and the scarlet, and the living bird, and dip them in the blood of the slain bird, and in the running water, and sprinkle the house seven times:

52 Et il purifiera la maison avec le sang de l’oiseau, avec l’eau courante, avec l’oiseau vivant, avec le bois de cèdre, avec l’hysope et avec l’écarlate.

 52 And he shall cleanse the house with the blood of the bird, and with the running water, and with the living bird, and with the cedar wood, and with the hyssop, and with the scarlet:

53 Mais il lâchera l’oiseau vivant hors de la ville en plein champ ; et il fera une expiation pour la maison, et elle sera nette.

 53 But he shall let go the living bird out of the city into the open fields, and make an atonement for the house: and it shall be clean.

54 C’est la loi pour toutes sortes de la plaie de lèpre et de teigne,

 54 This is the law for all manner of plague of leprosy, and scall,

55 Et pour la lèpre du vêtement et de la maison ;

 55 And for the leprosy of a garment, and of a house,

56 Et pour une tumeur, pour une croûte et pour une tache claire ;

 56 And for a rising, and for a scab, and for a bright spot:

57 Pour enseigner quand il y a souillure et quand il y a netteté : c’est la loi de la lèpre.

 57 To teach when it is unclean, and when it is clean: this is the law of leprosy.
