1 Et le SEIGNEUR parla à Moïse, disant :

 1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

2 Parle à Aaron et à ses fils afin qu’ils se séparent des choses saintes des enfants d’Israël, et qu’ils ne profanent pas mon saint nom dans ces choses qu’ils me sanctifient : Je suis le SEIGNEUR.

 2 Speak unto Aaron and to his sons, that they separate themselves from the holy things of the children of Israel, and that they profane not my holy name in those things which they hallow unto me: I am the LORD.

3 Dis-leur : Quiconque de toute votre semence parmi vos générations futures qui va vers les choses saintes, lesquelles les enfants d’Israël ont sanctifiées au SEIGNEUR, ayant sa souillure sur lui, cette âme-là sera retranchée de ma présence : Je suis le SEIGNEUR.

 3 Say unto them, Whosoever he be of all your seed among your generations, that goeth unto the holy things, which the children of Israel hallow unto the LORD, having his uncleanness upon him, that soul shall be cut off from my presence: I am the LORD.

4 Quelque homme de la semence d’Aaron, qui est lépreux ou qui a un écoulement, ne mangera pas des choses saintes jusqu’à ce qu’il soit nettoyé. Et quiconque touche quelque chose qui est souillée par un mort ou par un homme duquel sort de la semence ;

 4 What man soever of the seed of Aaron is a leper, or hath a running issue; he shall not eat of the holy things, until he be clean. And whoso toucheth any thing that is unclean by the dead, or a man whose seed goeth from him;

5 Ou quiconque aura touché quelque bête rampante par laquelle il peut devenir souillé, ou un homme qui puisse transmettre une souillure, quelle que souillure dont il soit affligé .

 5 Or whosoever toucheth any creeping thing, whereby he may be made unclean, or a man of whom he may take uncleanness, whatsoever uncleanness he hath;

6 L’âme qui aura touché cela sera souillée jusqu’au soir et ne mangera pas des choses saintes, à moins qu’ il ne lave sa chair dans l’eau.

 6 The soul which hath touched any such shall be unclean until even, and shall not eat of the holy things, unless he wash his flesh with water.

7 Et, lorsque le soleil est couché, il sera net et ensuite il mangera des choses saintes, parce que c’est sa nourriture.

 7 And when the sun is down, he shall be clean, and shall afterward eat of the holy things; because it is his food.

8 Il ne mangera pas d’une bête morte d’elle-même ou déchirée par les bêtes, afin de ne pas en être corrompu : Je suis le SEIGNEUR.

 8 That which dieth of itself, or is torn with beasts, he shall not eat to defile himself therewith: I am the LORD.

9 Ils garderont donc ce que j’ai ordonné, de peur qu’ils ne portent de péché pour cela, et qu’ils n’en meurent, quand ils l’auraient profané : Moi le SEIGNEUR les sanctifie.

 9 They shall therefore keep mine ordinance, lest they bear sin for it, and die therefore, if they profane it: I the LORD do sanctify them.

10 Nul étranger ne mangera de chose sainte ; celui qui séjourne chez un prêtre ou un serviteur salarié, ne mangeront pas de la chose sainte.

 10 There shall no stranger eat of the holy thing: a sojourner of the priest, or an hired servant, shall not eat of the holy thing.

11 Mais si le prêtre achète avec son argent quelque âme, elle en mangera ; ainsi que celui qui sera né dans sa maison ; ils mangeront de sa nourriture.

 11 But if the priest buy any soul with his money, he shall eat of it, and he that is born in his house: they shall eat of his meat.

12 Si une fille de prêtre est mariée à un étranger, elle ne pourra pas manger de l’offrande des choses saintes.

 12 If the priest’s daughter also be married unto a stranger, she may not eat of an offering of the holy things.

13 Mais si la fille du prêtre est veuve, ou divorcée, et n’a pas d’enfants et est retournée à la maison de son père, comme dans sa jeunesse, elle mangera de la nourriturede son père ; mais nul étranger n’en mangera.

 13 But if the priest’s daughter be a widow, or divorced, and have no child, and is returned unto her father’s house, as in her youth, she shall eat of her father’s meat: but there shall no stranger eat thereof.

14 ¶ Et si un homme à son insu, mange d’une chose sainte, il en mettra alors la cinquième partie par-dessus, et le donnera au prêtre avec la chose sainte.

 14 ¶ And if a man eat of the holy thing unwittingly, then he shall put the fifth part thereof unto it, and shall give it unto the priest with the holy thing.

15 Et ils ne profaneront pas les choses saintes des enfants d’Israël, qu’ils offrent au SEIGNEUR.

 15 And they shall not profane the holy things of the children of Israel, which they offer unto the LORD;

16 Ou on les laissera porter l’iniquité de transgression, quand ils mangeront leurs choses saintes ; car moi le SEIGNEUR les sanctifie.

 16 Or suffer them to bear the iniquity of trespass, when they eat their holy things: for I the LORD do sanctify them.

17 ¶ Et le SEIGNEUR parla à Moïse, disant :

 17 ¶ And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

18 Parle à Aaron et à ses fils, et à tous les enfants d’Israël, et dis-leur : Quiconque de la maison d’Israël, ou des étrangers en Israël, offrira son oblation pour tous ses vœux et pour toutes ses offrandes volontaires, qu’ils offrent au SEIGNEUR, pour une offrande consumée,

 18 Speak unto Aaron, and to his sons, and unto all the children of Israel, and say unto them, Whatsoever he be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers in Israel, that will offer his oblation for all his vows, and for all his freewill offerings, which they will offer unto the LORD for a burnt offering;

19 Vous offrirez selon votre propre gré un mâle sans défaut, d’entre les bœufs, les moutons ou les chèvres.

 19 Ye shall offer at your own will a male without blemish, of the beeves, of the sheep, or of the goats.

20 Mais quoi que ce soit qui ait un défaut, cela vous n’offrirez pas ; car ce ne serait pas accepté pour vous.

 20 But whatsoever hath a blemish, that shall ye not offer: for it shall not be acceptable for you.

21 Et quiconque offre un sacrifice d’offrandes de paix, au SEIGNEUR pour accomplir son vœu, ou une offrande volontaire, soit de bœufs ou de moutons, elle sera parfaite afin d’être acceptée ; il n’y aura en elle aucun défaut.

 21 And whosoever offereth a sacrifice of peace offerings unto the LORD to accomplish his vow, or a freewill offering in beeves or sheep, it shall be perfect to be accepted; there shall be no blemish therein.

22 Vous n’offrirez pas au SEIGNEUR ce qui est aveugle, ayant une fracture, ou estropié, ou ayant une loupe, ou rachitique ou une gale ; et vous n’en ferez pas une offrande par feu sur l’autel, au SEIGNEUR.

 22 Blind, or broken, or maimed, or having a wen, or scurvy, or scabbed, ye shall not offer these unto the LORD, nor make an offering by fire of them upon the altar unto the LORD.

23 Tu pourras offrir comme offrande volontaire un bœuf ou un agneau ayant quelque chose superflue ; mais pour un vœu il ne sera pas accepté.

 23 Either a bullock or a lamb that hath any thing superfluous or lacking in his parts, that mayest thou offer for a freewill offering; but for a vow it shall not be accepted.

24 Vous n’offrirez pas au SEIGNEUR ce qui est blessé, écrasé, cassé ou coupé ; vous ne ferez aucune offrande comme cela dans votre terre.

 24 Ye shall not offer unto the LORD that which is bruised, or crushed, or broken, or cut; neither shall ye make any offering thereof in your land.

25 Ni de la main d’un étranger, vous n’offrirez le pain de votre Dieu d’aucune de celles-là ; parce que leur corruption est en elles et les défauts sont en elles ; elles ne seront pas acceptées pour vous.

 25 Neither from a stranger’s hand shall ye offer the bread of your God of any of these; because their corruption is in them, and blemishes be in them: they shall not be accepted for you.

26 ¶ Et le SEIGNEUR parla à Moïse, disant :

 26 ¶ And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

27 Quand un taurillon, un mouton ou une chèvre sera né, il sera alors sept jours sous sa mère ; et à partir du huitième jour et après, il sera accepté pour une offrande faite par feu au SEIGNEUR.

 27 When a bullock, or a sheep, or a goat, is brought forth, then it shall be seven days under the dam; and from the eighth day and thenceforth it shall be accepted for an offering made by fire unto the LORD.

28 Et que ce soit une vache ou une brebis, vous ne la tuerez pas avec son petit le même jour.

 28 And whether it be cow or ewe, ye shall not kill it and her young both in one day.

29 Et quand vous offrirez un sacrifice de remerciement au SEIGNEUR, offrez-le de votre propre gré.

 29 And when ye will offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving unto the LORD, offer it at your own will.

30 Le jour même il sera mangé, vous n’en laisserez rien jusqu’au lendemain : Je suis le SEIGNEUR.

 30 On the same day it shall be eaten up; ye shall leave none of it until the morrow: I am the LORD.

31 C’est pourquoi vous garderez mes commandements et les ferez Je suis le SEIGNEUR.

 31 Therefore shall ye keep my commandments, and do them: I am the LORD.

32 Et vous ne profanerez pas non plus mon saint nom, mais je serai sanctifié au milieu des enfants d’Israël : Je suis le SEIGNEUR qui vous sanctifie,

 32 Neither shall ye profane my holy name; but I will be hallowed among the children of Israel: I am the LORD which hallow you,

33 Qui vous ai fait sortir du pays d’Égypte pour être votre Dieu. Je suis le SEIGNEUR.

 33 That brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am the LORD.
