1 Et le SEIGNEUR parla à Moïse, disant :

 1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

2 Parle aux enfants d’Israël et dis-leur : Quand un homme aura fait un simple vœu, les personnes seront au SEIGNEUR, selon ton estimation.

 2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When a man shall make a singular vow, the persons shall be for the LORD by thy estimation.

3 Et ton estimation sera d’un homme de vingt ans jusqu’à même soixante ans, c’est-à-dire ton estimation sera de cinquante shekels (sicles) d’argent, selon le shekel du sanctuaire.

 3 And thy estimation shall be of the male from twenty years old even unto sixty years old, even thy estimation shall be fifty shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary.

4 Et si c’est une femme, ton estimation sera alors de trente shekels.

 4 And if it be a female, then thy estimation shall be thirty shekels.

5 Et si c’est depuis l’âge de cinq ans jusqu’à l’âge de vingt ans, ton estimation alors sera de vingt shekels pour l’homme, et pour la femme de dix shekels.

 5 And if it be from five years old even unto twenty years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male twenty shekels, and for the female ten shekels.

6 Et si c’est depuis l’âge d’un mois jusqu’à l’âge de cinq ans, ton estimation alors sera de cinq shekels d’argent pour le garçon, et pour une fille de trois shekels d’argent.

 6 And if it be from a month old even unto five years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male five shekels of silver, and for the female thy estimation shall be three shekels of silver.

7 Et si c’est depuis soixante ans et au-dessus, si c’est un homme, ton estimation alors sera de quinze shekels, et pour la femme de dix shekels.

 7 And if it be from sixty years old and above; if it be a male, then thy estimation shall be fifteen shekels, and for the female ten shekels.

8 Mais s’il est plus pauvre que ton estimation, alors il se présentera devant le prêtre, et le prêtre l’évaluera ; le prêtre l’évaluera selon la possibilité de celui qui a fait le vœu.

 8 But if he be poorer than thy estimation, then he shall present himself before the priest, and the priest shall value him; according to his ability that vowed shall the priest value him.

9 Et si c’est une bête dont les hommes apportent en offrande au SEIGNEUR, tout ce qu’un homme en donnera au SEIGNEUR sera saint.

 9 And if it be a beast, whereof men bring an offering unto the LORD, all that any man giveth of such unto the LORD shall be holy.

10 Il ne la changera pas, et ne la substituera pas, une bonne pour une mauvaise, ou une mauvaise pour une bonne ; et s’il substitue une bête par une autre, alors l’échange sera saint.

 10 He shall not alter it, nor change it, a good for a bad, or a bad for a good: and if he shall at all change beast for beast, then it and the exchange thereof shall be holy.

11 Et si c’est une quelconque bête souillée, de celles qu’on n’offre pas en sacrifice au SEIGNEUR, il présentera alors la bête devant le prêtre ;

 11 And if it be any unclean beast, of which they do not offer a sacrifice unto the LORD, then he shall present the beast before the priest:

12 Et le prêtre l’estimera, selon qu’elle est bonne ou mauvaise ; selon ton estimation, toi qui est le prêtre ainsi en sera-t-il.

 12 And the priest shall value it, whether it be good or bad: as thou valuest it, who art the priest, so shall it be.

13 Mais s’il veut la racheter, il ajoutera alors une cinquième partie à ton estimation.

 13 But if he will at all redeem it, then he shall add a fifth part thereof unto thy estimation.

14 ¶ Et quand un homme sanctifiera sa maison pour être sainte au SEIGNEUR, le prêtre alors l’estimera, selon qu’elle sera bonne ou mauvaise ; selon que le prêtre l’aura estimée, ainsi il en sera.

 14 ¶ And when a man shall sanctify his house to be holy unto the LORD, then the priest shall estimate it, whether it be good or bad: as the priest shall estimate it, so shall it stand.

15 Et si celui qui l’a sanctifiée, veut racheter sa maison, il ajoutera la cinquième partie de l’argent de ton estimation, et elle sera sienne.

 15 And if he that sanctified it will redeem his house, then he shall add the fifth part of the money of thy estimation unto it, and it shall be his.

16 Et si un homme sanctifie au SEIGNEUR quelque partie d’un champ en sa possession, ton estimation alors sera selon la semence de celle-ci ; un homer de semence d’orge sera estimé à cinquante shekels d’argent.

 16 And if a man shall sanctify unto the LORD some part of a field of his possession, then thy estimation shall be according to the seed thereof: an homer of barley seed shall be valued at fifty shekels of silver.

17 S’il sanctifie son champ dès l’année du jubilé, selon ton estimation, ainsi il en sera.

 17 If he sanctify his field from the year of jubile, according to thy estimation it shall stand.

18 Mais s’il sanctifie son champ après le jubilé, alors le prêtre lui comptera l’argent selon les années qui restent, c’est-à-dire jusqu’à l’année du jubilé, et cela sera déduit de ton estimation.

 18 But if he sanctify his field after the jubile, then the priest shall reckon unto him the money according to the years that remain, even unto the year of the jubile, and it shall be abated from thy estimation.

19 Et si celui qui a sanctifié le champ veut de toute manière le racheter, il ajoutera alors la cinquième partie de l’argent de ton estimation, et il sera à lui.

 19 And if he that sanctified the field will in any wise redeem it, then he shall add the fifth part of the money of thy estimation unto it, and it shall be assured to him.

20 Et s’il ne rachète pas le champ, ou qu’il vende le champ à un autre homme, il ne pourra plus être racheté.

 20 And if he will not redeem the field, or if he have sold the field to another man, it shall not be redeemed any more.

21 Mais le champ, quand il est libéré au jubilé, sera saint au SEIGNEUR, comme un champ voué ; la possession en sera au prêtre.

 21 But the field, when it goeth out in the jubile, shall be holy unto the LORD, as a field devoted; the possession thereof shall be the priest’s.

22 Et si un homme sanctifie au SEIGNEUR un champ qu’il ait acheté, qui ne soit pas des champs de sa possession,

 22 And if a man sanctify unto the LORD a field which he hath bought, which is not of the fields of his possession;

23 Le prêtre alors lui comptera la valeur de ton estimation, c’est-à-dire jusqu’à l’année du jubilé, et il donnera ton estimation en ce jour-là, comme une chose sainte au SEIGNEUR.

 23 Then the priest shall reckon unto him the worth of thy estimation, even unto the year of the jubile: and he shall give thine estimation in that day, as a holy thing unto the LORD.

24 En l’année du jubilé, le champ retournera à celui à qui il l’avait acheté, c’est-à-dire à celui à qui appartenait la possession de la terre.

 24 In the year of the jubile the field shall return unto him of whom it was bought, even to him to whom the possession of the land did belong.

25 Et toutes tes estimations seront selon le shekel du sanctuaire ; le shekel sera de vingt guéras.

 25 And all thy estimations shall be according to the shekel of the sanctuary: twenty gerahs shall be the shekel.

26 ¶ Seulement, le premier-né d’entre les bêtes, qui devrait être le premier-né du SEIGNEUR, nul homme ne le sanctifiera ; que ce soit bœuf, ou mouton, il est au SEIGNEUR.

 26 ¶ Only the firstling of the beasts, which should be the LORD’S firstling, no man shall sanctify it; whether it be ox, or sheep: it is the LORD’S.

27 Mais s’il est d’une bête souillée, alors il le rachètera selon ton estimation, et ajoutera sur celle-ci la cinquième partie ; ou s’il n’est pas racheté, alors il sera vendu selon ton estimation.

 27 And if it be of an unclean beast, then he shall redeem it according to thine estimation, and shall add a fifth part of it thereto: or if it be not redeemed, then it shall be sold according to thy estimation.

28 Néanmoins aucune chose vouée, qu’un homme aura vouée au SEIGNEUR, de tout ce qu’il possède, soit homme, ou bête ou champ de sa possession, ne se vendra ni ne se rachètera ; toute chose vouée est très sainte au SEIGNEUR.

 28 Notwithstanding no devoted thing, that a man shall devote unto the LORD of all that he hath, both of man and beast, and of the field of his possession, shall be sold or redeemed: every devoted thing is most holy unto the LORD.

29 Aucune personne vouée, qui sera vouée d’entre les hommes, ne pourra être rachetée ; mais elle sera certainement mise à mort.

 29 None devoted, which shall be devoted of men, shall be redeemed; but shall surely be put to death.

30 Et toute dîme de la terre, soit de la semence de la terre, soit du fruit des arbres, est au SEIGNEUR ; c’est saint au SEIGNEUR.

 30 And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the LORD’S: it is holy unto the LORD.

31 Et si un homme veut à tout égard racheter une partie de sa dîme, il y ajoutera la cinquième partie.

 31 And if a man will at all redeem ought of his tithes, he shall add thereto the fifth part thereof.

32 Et concernant la dîme de bœufs, ou de moutons, c’est-à-dire de tout ce qui passe sous le bâton, le dixième sera saint au SEIGNEUR.

 32 And concerning the tithe of the herd, or of the flock, even of whatsoever passeth under the rod, the tenth shall be holy unto the LORD.

33 On ne cherchera pas entre le bon et le mauvais et on ne le substituera pas ; et si on le substitue, alors les deux, la bête et celle substituée seront saintes, elle ne sera pas rachetée.

 33 He shall not search whether it be good or bad, neither shall he change it: and if he change it at all, then both it and the change thereof shall be holy; it shall not be redeemed.

34 Ceux-ci sont les commandements que le SEIGNEUR commanda à Moïse pour les enfants d’Israël, au mont Sinaï.

 34 These are the commandments, which the LORD commanded Moses for the children of Israel in mount Sinai.
