1 a parole du SEIGNEUR, qui vint à Micah (Michée), le Morasthite, aux jours de Jotham, d’Ahaz (Achaz), d’Hezekiah (Ézéchias), rois de Judah (Juda), laquelle il vit concernant Samarie et Jérusalem.

1 The word of the LORD that came to Micah the Morasthite in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, which he saw concerning Samaria and Jerusalem.
|
2 Entendez, vous tous les peuples ; sois attentive, ô terre, avec tout ce qui est en elle ; et que le Seigneur DIEU soit témoin contre vous, le Seigneur, de son saint temple.
|
2 Hear, all ye people; hearken, O earth, and all that therein is: and let the Lord GOD be witness against you, the Lord from his holy temple.
|
3 Car voici, le SEIGNEUR sort de son palais, et descendra, et marchera sur les hauts lieux de la terre.
|
3 For, behold, the LORD cometh forth out of his place, and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the earth.
|
4 Et les montagnes se fondront sous lui, et les vallées se fendront, comme la cire devant le feu, et comme des eaux qui sont versées sur une pente.
|
4 And the mountains shall be molten under him, and the valleys shall be cleft, as wax before the fire, and as the waters that are poured down a steep place.
|
5 Tout ceci est pour la transgression de Jacob et pour les péchés de la maison d’Israël. Quelle est la transgression de Jacob ? N’est-ce pas Samarie ? Et quels sont les hauts lieux de Judah (Juda) ? Ne sont-ils pas Jérusalem ?
|
5 For the transgression of Jacob is all this, and for the sins of the house of Israel. What is the transgression of Jacob? is it not Samaria? and what are the high places of Judah? are they not Jerusalem?
|
6 C’est pourquoi je ferai de Samarie un monceau dans les champs, pour y planter des vignes, et je ferai rouler ses pierres dans la vallée, et je découvrirai ses fondements.
|
6 Therefore I will make Samaria as an heap of the field, and as plantings of a vineyard: and I will pour down the stones thereof into the valley, and I will discover the foundations thereof.
|
7 Toutes ses images taillées seront mises en pièces, et tous les salaires de sa prostitution seront brûlés au feu, et je saccagerai toutes ses idoles ; car elle les a rassemblées avec le salaire d’une prostituée, et ils retourneront au salaire d’une prostituée.
|
7 And all the graven images thereof shall be beaten to pieces, and all the hires thereof shall be burned with the fire, and all the idols thereof will I lay desolate: for she gathered it of the hire of an harlot, and they shall return to the hire of an harlot.
|
8 C’est pourquoi je gémirai, et hurlerai, et j’irai dépouillé et nu ; je ferai un gémissement comme les dragons, et mènerai deuil comme les hiboux.
|
8 Therefore I will wail and howl, I will go stripped and naked: I will make a wailing like the dragons, and mourning as the owls.
|
9 Car sa plaie est incurable ; car elle est venue jusqu’à Judah (Juda), il l’ennemi est venu jusqu’à la porte de mon peuple, même jusqu’à Jérusalem.
|
9 For her wound is incurable; for it is come unto Judah; he is come unto the gate of my people, even to Jerusalem.
|
10 ¶ Ne le proclamez pas dans Gath, ne pleurez nullement ; dans la maison d’Aphrah, roule-toi dans la poussière.
|
10 ¶ Declare ye it not at Gath, weep ye not at all: in the house of Aphrah roll thyself in the dust.
|
11 Passe outre, toi habitante de Saphir (Shaphir), ayant ta honte dénudée ; l’habitante de Zaanan (Tsaanan) n’est pas sortie pour la complainte de Bethezel ; il recevra de vous sa position.
|
11 Pass ye away, thou inhabitant of Saphir, having thy shame naked: the inhabitant of Zaanan came not forth in the mourning of Bethezel; he shall receive of you his standing.
|
12 Car l’habitante de Maroth attendait attentivement pour son bien ; mais le mal est descendu de la part du SEIGNEUR jusqu’à la porte de Jérusalem.
|
12 For the inhabitant of Maroth waited carefully for good: but evil came down from the LORD unto the gate of Jerusalem.
|
13 Ô toi habitante de Lachish (Lakis), attelle la bête rapide au chariot ; elle est le commencement du péché pour la fille de Zion (Sion) ; car en toi ont été trouvés les transgressions d’Israël.
|
13 O thou inhabitant of Lachish, bind the chariot to the swift beast: she is the beginning of the sin to the daughter of Zion: for the transgressions of Israel were found in thee.
|
14 C’est pourquoi tu donneras des présents à Moreshethgath de Gath ; les maisons d’Achzib (Aczib) seront un mensonge pour les rois d’Israël.
|
14 Therefore shalt thou give presents to Moreshethgath: the houses of Achzib shall be a lie to the kings of Israel.
|
15 Toutefois je t’amènerai un héritier, ô habitante de Maresha ; il viendra jusqu’à Adullam, la gloire d’Israël.
|
15 Yet will I bring an heir unto thee, O inhabitant of Mareshah: he shall come unto Adullam the glory of Israel.
|
16 Rends-toi chauve et tonds-toi, à cause de tes chers enfants ; élargis ta calvitie comme l’aigle, car ils sont partis en captivité loin de toi.
|
16 Make thee bald, and poll thee for thy delicate children; enlarge thy baldness as the eagle; for they are gone into captivity from thee.
