1 Et le SEIGNEUR parla à Moïse disant:
|
1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
|
2 Commande aux enfants d’Israël, et dis-leur : Lorsque vous arriverez dans la terre de Canaan, (c’est la terre qui vous échoit en héritage, savoir la terre de Canaan selon ses confins),
|
2 Command the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land of Canaan; (this is the land that shall fall unto you for an inheritance, even the land of Canaan with the coasts thereof:)
|
3 Votre quartier Sud sera depuis le désert de Zin, le long des limites d’ Edom, et votre frontière sud sera l’extrémité du rivage de la mer Salée, vers l’Est.
|
3 Then your south quarter shall be from the wilderness of Zin along by the coast of Edom, and your south border shall be the outmost coast of the salt sea eastward:
|
4 Et votre frontière tournera depuis le Sud vers la montée d’Akrabbim, et passera vers Zin (Tsin), et aboutira au Sud de Kadeshbarnea (Kadès-Barnéa) ; et sortira vers Hazaraddar (Hatsar-Addar), et passera vers Azmon (Atsmon).

4 And your border shall turn from the south to the ascent of Akrabbim, and pass on to Zin: and the going forth thereof shall be from the south to Kadeshbarnea, and shall go on to Hazaraddar, and pass on to Azmon:
|
5 Et la frontière tournera depuis Azmon (Atsmon) vers la rivière d’Égypte, et aboutira à la mer.
|
5 And the border shall fetch a compass from Azmon unto the river of Egypt, and the goings out of it shall be at the sea.
|
6 Et quant à la frontière d’Ouest, vous aurez la grande mer pour frontière ; ce sera votre frontière occidentale.
|
6 And as for the western border, ye shall even have the great sea for a border: this shall be your west border.
|
7 Et ceci sera votre frontière au Nord depuis la grande mer vous indiquerez pour vous le mont Hor ;
|
7 And this shall be your north border: from the great sea ye shall point out for you mount Hor:
|
8 Depuis le mont Hor, vous indiquerez votre frontière jusqu’à l’entrée de Hamath, et la frontière aboutira à Zedad (Tseda).
|
8 From mount Hor ye shall point out your border unto the entrance of Hamath; and the goings forth of the border shall be to Zedad:
|
9 ¶ Et la frontière sortira vers Ziphron, et aboutira à Hazarenan (Hatsar-Enan) ; ceci sera votre frontière nord.
|
9 ¶ And the border shall go on to Ziphron, and the goings out of it shall be at Hazarenan: this shall be your north border.
|
10 Et vous indiquerez pour votre frontière à l’Est, de Hazarenan à Shepham.
|
10 And ye shall point out your east border from Hazarenan to Shepham:
|
11 Et la frontière descendra de Shepham à Ribla, du côté est d’Ain ; et la frontière descendra et atteindra la côte de la mer de Kinnereth, vers l’Est ;
|
11 And the coast shall go down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east side of Ain; and the border shall descend, and shall reach unto the side of the sea of Chinnereth eastward:
|
12 Et la frontière descendra vers le Jourdain, et aboutira à la mer salée ce sera votre terre, selon ses limites tout autour.
|
12 And the border shall go down to Jordan, and the goings out of it shall be at the salt sea: this shall be your land with the coasts thereof round about.
|
13 Et Moïse commanda aux enfants d’Israël disant: C’est là la terre que vous hériterez par lot, lequel le SEIGNEUR a commandé de donner aux neuf tribus et à la moitié d’une tribu.
|
13 And Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying, This is the land which ye shall inherit by lot, which the LORD commanded to give unto the nine tribes, and to the half tribe:
|
14 Car la tribu des enfants de Reuben (Ruben), selon la maison de leurs pères, et la tribu des enfants de Gad, selon la maison de leurs pères, ont reçu leur héritage et la demi tribu de Manaseh (Mannasé) a reçu leur héritage.
|
14 For the tribe of the children of Reuben according to the house of their fathers, and the tribe of the children of Gad according to the house of their fathers, have received their inheritance; and half the tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance:
|
15 Les deux tribus et la demi tribu ont reçu leur héritage de ce côté-ci du Jourdain près de Jéricho, à l’Est, vers le soleil levant.
|
15 The two tribes and the half tribe have received their inheritance on this side Jordan near Jericho eastward, toward the sunrising.
|
16 Et le SEIGNEUR parla à Moïse disant:
|
16 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
|
17 Ce sont ici les noms des hommes qui vous partageront la terre Eleazar, le prêtre, et Joshua (Josué), le fils de Nun.
|
17 These are the names of the men which shall divide the land unto you: Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun.
|
18 Et vous prendrez un prince de chaque tribu, pour partager la terre en héritage.
|
18 And ye shall take one prince of every tribe, to divide the land by inheritance.
|
19 Et les noms de ces hommes sont ceci De la tribu de Judah (Juda), Caleb, le fils de Jephunneh) (Jephunné) ;
|
19 And the names of the men are these: Of the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh.
|
20 De la tribu des enfants de Simeon (Siméon), Shemuel, le fils d’Ammihud ;
|
20 And of the tribe of the children of Simeon, Shemuel the son of Ammihud.
|
21 De la tribu de Benjamin, Elidad, le fils de Chislon (Kislon) ;
|
21 Of the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad the son of Chislon.
|
22 Et le prince de la tribu des enfants de Dan, Bukki, le fils de Jogli ;
|
22 And the prince of the tribe of the children of Dan, Bukki the son of Jogli.
|
23 Le prince des enfants de Joseph pour la tribu des enfants de Manaseh (Mannasé), Hanniel, le fils d’Ephod ;
|
23 The prince of the children of Joseph, for the tribe of the children of Manasseh, Hanniel the son of Ephod.
|
24 Et le prince de la tribu des enfants d’Ephraim (Éphraïm), Kemuel, le fils de Shiphtan ;
|
24 And the prince of the tribe of the children of Ephraim, Kemuel the son of Shiphtan.
|
25 Et le prince de la tribu des enfants de Zebulun (Zabulon), Elizaphan, le fils de Parnach (Parnac) ;
|
25 And the prince of the tribe of the children of Zebulun, Elizaphan the son of Parnach.
|
26 Et le prince de la tribu des enfants d’Issachar (Issacar), Paltiel, le fils d’Azzan ;
|
26 And the prince of the tribe of the children of Issachar, Paltiel the son of Azzan.
|
27 Et le prince de la tribu des enfants d’Asher (Asser), Ahihud, le fils de Shelomi ;
|
27 And the prince of the tribe of the children of Asher, Ahihud the son of Shelomi.
|
28 Et le prince de la tribu des enfants de Naphthali, Pedahel, fils d’Ammihud.
|
28 And the prince of the tribe of the children of Naphtali, Pedahel the son of Ammihud.
|
29 Ce sont ceux auxquels le SEIGNEUR commanda de partager l’héritage aux enfants d’Israël, dans la terre de Canaan.
|
29 These are they whom the LORD commanded to divide the inheritance unto the children of Israel in the land of Canaan.
