1 Béni est l’homme qui ne marche pas dans le conseil des impies, ni ne se tient dans le chemin des pécheurs, ni ne s’assied sur le siège des dédaigneux.
|
1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
|
2 Mais son délice est dans la loi du SEIGNEUR ; et dans sa loi il médite jour et nuit.
|
2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
|
3 Et il sera comme un arbre planté près des cours d’eau, qui produit son fruit en sa saison ; son feuillage aussi ne se flétrira pas ; et tout ce qu’il fait prospérera.
|
3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
|
4 Les impies ne sont pas ainsi : mais sont comme la paille que le vent chasse.
|
4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
|
5 Par conséquent les impies ne se tiendront pas debout dans le jugement, ni les pécheurs dans la congrégation des hommes droits.
|
5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
|
6 Car le SEIGNEUR connaît le chemin des hommes droits : mais le chemin des impies périra.
|
6 For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
