A Song and Psalm for the sons of Korah.
|
1 Grand est le SEIGNEUR, et il doit être grandement loué dans la cité de notre Dieu, dans la montagne de sa sainteté.
|
1 Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness.
|
2 Belle par son emplacement, la joie de toute la terre, est le mont Sion, sur les côtés du nord, la ville du grand Roi.
|
2 Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King.
|
3 Dieu est connu dans ses palais pour un refuge.
|
3 God is known in her palaces for a refuge.
|
4 Car, voici, les rois s’étaient assemblés, ils passèrent à côté tous ensemble.
|
4 For, lo, the kings were assembled, they passed by together.
|
5 Ils la virent, et ainsi ils s’émerveillèrent; ils furent troublés, et s’enfuirent à la hâte.
|
5 They saw it, and so they marvelled; they were troubled, and hasted away.
|
6 Là, la peur s’empara d’eux sur place, et la douleur, comme celle d’une femme qui est en travail.
|
6 Fear took hold upon them there, and pain, as of a woman in travail.
|
7 Tu brises les navires de Tarshish par un vent d’est.
|
7 Thou breakest the ships of Tarshish with an east wind.
|
8 Ce que nous avons entendu, ainsi l’avons-nous vu dans la ville du SEIGNEUR des armées, dans la ville de notre Dieu: Dieu l’établira pour toujours. Selah.

8 As we have heard, so have we seen in the city of the LORD of hosts, in the city of our God: God will establish it for ever. Selah.
|
9 Nous avons pensé à ta tendre compassion, ô Dieu, au milieu de ton temple.
|
9 We have thought of thy lovingkindness, O God, in the midst of thy temple.
|
10 Selon ton nom, ô Dieu, ainsi est ta louange jusqu’aux bouts de la terre: ta main droite est pleine de droiture.
|
10 According to thy name, O God, so is thy praise unto the ends of the earth: thy right hand is full of righteousness.
|
11 Que le mont Sion se réjouisse, que les filles de Judah soient contentes, à cause de tes jugements.
|
11 Let mount Zion rejoice, let the daughters of Judah be glad, because of thy judgments.
|
12 Parcourez Sion, et faites-en le tour: signalez ses tours.
|
12 Walk about Zion, and go round about her: tell the towers thereof.
|
13 Remarquez bien ses remparts, considérez ses palais; pour que vous puissiez le raconter à la génération suivante.
|
13 Mark ye well her bulwarks, consider her palaces; that ye may tell it to the generation following.
|
14 Car ce Dieu est notre Dieu pour toujours et à jamais: Il sera notre guide même jusqu’à la mort.
|
14 For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.
