A Psalm of David.
|
1 Entends ma prière, ô SEIGNEUR, prête l’oreille à mes supplications: dans ta fidélité réponds-moi, et dans ta droiture.
|
1 Hear my prayer, O LORD, give ear to my supplications: in thy faithfulness answer me, and in thy righteousness.
|
2 Et n’entre pas en jugement avec ton serviteur: car à ta vue aucun homme vivant ne sera justifié.
|
2 And enter not into judgment with thy servant: for in thy sight shall no man living be justified.
|
3 Car l’ennemi a persécuté mon âme; il a frappé ma vie au sol; il m’a fait demeurer dans l’obscurité, comme ceux qui sont morts depuis longtemps.
|
3 For the enemy hath persecuted my soul; he hath smitten my life down to the ground; he hath made me to dwell in darkness, as those that have been long dead.
|
4 Par conséquent mon esprit est accablé en moi; mon cœur en moi est ravagé.
|
4 Therefore is my spirit overwhelmed within me; my heart within me is desolate.
|
5 Je me souviens des jours d’autrefois; je médite toutes tes œuvres; je réfléchis à l’œuvre de tes mains.
|
5 I remember the days of old; I meditate on all thy works; I muse on the work of thy hands.
|
6 J’étends mes mains vers toi: mon âme a soif de toi, comme une terre assoiffée. Selah.
|
6 I stretch forth my hands unto thee: my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah.
|
7 Entends-moi bien vite, ô SEIGNEUR: mon esprit faiblit: ne me cache pas ta face, de peur que je ne sois comme ceux qui descendent dans la fosse.
|
7 Hear me speedily, O LORD: my spirit faileth: hide not thy face from me, lest I be like unto them that go down into the pit.
|
8 Fais-moi entendre ta tendre compassion le matin; car en toi ai-je confiance: fais-moi connaître le chemin dans lequel je devrais marcher; car j’élève mon âme vers toi.
|
8 Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.
|
9 Délivre-moi, ô SEIGNEUR, de mes ennemis: je m’enfuis vers toi pour me cacher.
|
9 Deliver me, O LORD, from mine enemies: I flee unto thee to hide me.
|
10 Enseigne-moi à faire ta volonté; car tu es mon Dieu: ton esprit est bon; conduis-moi dans la terre de la rectitude.
|
10 Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.
|
11 Vivifie-moi, ô SEIGNEUR, à cause de ton nom: à cause de ta droiture, fais sortir mon âme de la difficulté.
|
11 Quicken me, O LORD, for thy name’s sake: for thy righteousness’ sake bring my soul out of trouble.
|
12 Et dans ta miséricorde, retranche mes ennemis, et détruis tous ceux qui affligent mon âme: car je suis ton serviteur.
|
12 And of thy mercy cut off mine enemies, and destroy all them that afflict my soul: for I am thy servant.
