1 Après cela je regardai, et, voici, une porte était ouverte au ciel: et la première voix que j’entendis était comme celle d’une trompette parlant avec moi; qui disait: Monte ici, et je te montrerai ces choses qui doivent arriver à l’avenir.

1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
|
2 Et immédiatement je fus en l’esprit: et, voici, un trône était placé au ciel, et quelqu’un était assis sur le trône.
|
2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.
|
3 Et celui qui était assis était à l’observer semblable à une pierre de jaspe et de sardoine: et il y avait un arc-en-ciel tout autour du trône, à la vue semblable à une émeraude.
|
3 And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.
|
4 Et tout autour du trône étaient vingt-quatre sièges: et sur les sièges je vis vingt-quatre anciens assis, vêtus d’habits blancs; et ils avaient sur leurs têtes des couronnes d’or.
|
4 And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.
|
5 Et du trône provenaient éclairs et tonnerres et voix: et il y avait sept lampes de feu brûlant devant le trône, lesquelles sont les sept Esprits de Dieu.
|
5 And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.
|
6 Et devant le trône, il y avait une mer de verre semblable à du cristal: et au milieu du trône, et tout autour du trône, étaient quatre bêtes pleines d’yeux devant et derrière.
|
6 And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind.
|
7 Et la première bête était semblable à un lion, et la seconde bête semblable à un veau, et la troisième bête avait un visage pareil à celui d’un homme, et la quatrième bête était semblable à un aigle volant.
|
7 And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle.
|
8 Et les quatre bêtes avaient chacune six ailes autour d’elles; et elles étaient pleines d’yeux au-dedans: et elles n’ont de repos ni jour ni nuit, disant: Saint, saint, saint, Seigneur Dieu Tout-Puissant, qui était, et est, et est à venir.
|
8 And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.
|
9 Et lorsque ces bêtes rendent gloire et honneur et remerciements à celui qui était assis sur le trône, qui vit pour toujours et à jamais,

9 And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever,
|
10 Les vingt-quatre anciens tombent devant celui qui était assis sur le trône, et ils adorent celui qui vit pour toujours et à jamais, et jettent leurs couronnes devant le trône, disant:
|
10 The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,
|
11 Tu es digne, Ô Seigneur, de recevoir gloire et honneur et pouvoir: car tu as créé toutes choses, et pour ton plaisir elles sont et ont été créées.
|
11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
