1 Puis il me montra Joshua (Josué), le grand prêtre, se tenant debout devant l’ange du SEIGNEUR, et Satan se tenant debout à sa main droite, pour s’opposer à lui.
|
1 And he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him.
|
2 Et le SEIGNEUR dit à Satan : Que le SEIGNEUR t’admoneste, ô Satan ; dis-je, que le SEIGNEUR qui a choisi Jérusalem, t’admoneste, celui-ci n’est-il pas un tison retiré du feu ?
|
2 And the LORD said unto Satan, The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan; even the LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?
|
3 Or Joshua (Josué) était vêtu de vêtements sales, et se tenait devant l’ange.
|
3 Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel.
|
4 Et il répondit, et parla à ceux qui se tenaient devant lui : Ôtez-lui ses vêtements sales. Puis il lui à Joshua (Josué) dit : Contemple, j’ai fait passer sur toi ton iniquité, et je te revêts de vêtements de rechange.
|
4 And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment.
|
5 Et je disais : Qu’on lui mette sur la tête une mitre nette. Ainsi ils lui mirent sur la tête une mitre nette, et le revêtirent de vêtements. Et l’ange du SEIGNEUR était debout.
|
5 And I said, Let them set a fair mitre upon his head. So they set a fair mitre upon his head, and clothed him with garments. And the angel of the LORD stood by.
|
6 Et l’ange du SEIGNEUR protesta à Joshua (Josué), disant :

6 And the angel of the LORD protested unto Joshua, saying,
|
7 Ainsi dit le SEIGNEUR des armées : Si tu marches dans mes chemins, et si tu gardes ce dont je te charge, tu jugeras aussi ma maison, tu garderas mes cours, et je te donnerai de marcher entre ceux qui sont ici présents.

7 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou wilt keep my charge, then thou shalt also judge my house, and shalt also keep my courts, and I will give thee places to walk among these that stand by.
|
8 ¶ Entends maintenant, ô Joshua (Josué), le grand prêtre, toi et tes compagnons qui sont assis devant toi ; car ce sont des hommes de prodige certainement voici, je vais faire venir mon serviteur, la BRANCHE.
|
8 Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee: for they are men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH.
|
9 Car voici, quant à la pierre que j’ai mise devant Joshua (Josué), sur une seule pierre il y aura sept yeux voici, je graverai sa gravure, dit le SEIGNEUR des armées, et j’ôterai en un jour l’iniquité de ce pays.
|
9 For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.
|
10 En ce jour-là, dit le SEIGNEUR des armées, chacun de vous appellera son voisin sous la vigne et sous le figuier.
|
10 In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, shall ye call every man his neighbour under the vine and under the fig tree.
